Yet we have expert after expert thinking they have the "fix" for eduction. I can't tell you how many changes I've experienced in my 30 years of education experience. It's always something new. perhaps, as I say this from one who isn't in that system, its more about making money off the attempt to fix it

The scary thing is that my son told me last night that he just changed his major to become a teacher.

*Sigh*.

I'm going to try to steer him to mathematics because I do want him to get a job after he has graduated and math teachers are in the shortest supply. They are more heavily recruited than any other teacher.
It's a more difficult track of courses...but that's why they are in short supply.
