I have photos of big spanish kitchens ,and theres. A similar one much older ,1844 versus the 1930s that is nearby but is on private property .a Spanish kitchen is an out door grill pit with a ton of utensils ,pots and pans .
The other was for hunters to use as they gathered as neighbors to feast on fish or game,deer,gator and local sea and freshwater fish with sea grape,lone palm jellies etc
I'm sure that she wouldn't mind being a reputable source for a good recipe if she is willing to share.
Besides, we can't put the "love" ingredient in it for you the same way that she does.
I make all my special dishes with some "love" and it makes them all taste so much better. Everyone enjoys it so much more when I do these things with love...just like your wife does for you.
And nothing says "Love" like a hearty and hot bowl of soup on a long, tiring, cold day.
