I Lewis led the MP's on a high speed chase then I ran out the front gate of Fort Benning Georgia straight into the Columbus cops who I also out ran and crashed later because I was going to fast around a curve. The cops said man you can drive your tail off, then I was carted off to jail. I am looking back at that and calling my self a idiot. This was the spring of 1980. This article made me think of it. And the girl that I was with jumped from the car in fear, because I was drunk.
