I'm looking to be heard by God, I wish he could bless me - I wish he could support me and the people who I care about. What is the best way to get my prayers sent to God. If there's some guide how to get heard by God and feel the holy spirit - I'd like to know about it. I've always been into spiritualism and sometimes I burn candles and pray.

I think I'll burn a candle today too.

BTW: Thanks for your kind support the last time I requested prayers - it seemed to work!

There's nothing wrong with candles. I love burning frankinscense for the spiritual atmosphere.
But non of that is necessary. Your prayers will be heard regardless of whether you engage in some spiritual practice or just sit down on a kitchen chair and talk to God.
One good and helpfull thing to do is to not just talk to God, but also to be still and "listen". Communication is a dialogue, not just a monologue.
But you really don't need to make huge efforts to make your prayers heard. He will hear them any time, no matter how many candles you burn.

Thanks Claudya! ;) Yeah, well the candles are romantic and get me a good feel to it - I think they are not needed like you say, but I tend to love the candle-light in the half-dark room. :D
It also makes me feel closer to God.

Then again, you could just open your mouth and start speaking to God like you do your best friend. Really. That's all there is to it.

I'm curious, under your avatar is says you aren't a Christian... Does that mean you reject Jesus, who is God? If so, what is it really that you want to talk to Him about? I'm not trying to be mean here, it's just that God is primarily interested in your salvation and eternal life far more than in granting your other wishes in this life. If you talk to Him, the first and main thing He is going to want to discuss with you is how you can be saved, which He has already answered in the Bible. Or perhaps is that what you want to talk to Him about? It is only through acceptance of Jesus as your savior from sin that you will be "heard by God and feel the holy spirit". There is no candle, magic word, or magic person that can pray for you that will accomplish this. If you felt this worked in the past, it was either God trying to show you he was real so you would believe in Him, or it was just coincidence. You must accept the forgiveness for all your shortcomings and sins, and turn your life over to God if you want Him to hear your prayers and feel His Holy Spirit working in your life.
