Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. Exo.22:21
Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. Exo.23:9
It seems incredible how much and for how long there has been unrest between Arabs and Jews.
Both cultures believe strangers should be treated well. They believe in being hospitable towards people they don't really know very well. I think it's quite amazing how if both cultures followed the command of the God they claim to believe in, there wouldn't be any problem.
