Barbarian the two photos of the underground conduit and its cover is possibly the dc wiring for the switch yard. unless there is a redundancy in the feeders from the plant . i know who i can ask as i work with a man who did work for t and d and usually on sub stations. he would know if i showed him. in his office he has a photo of all the sub stations of the time. late 70s to early 80s, and this is one of them. it is however probably a mid 70s photo or whenever they were going to hook up unit 4,

the uppper one is actually an oddity in that i took that through a fence and the fence doesnt show up and yet it was there in the image when i snapped it, you can barely make out a greyish line over those cooling fans that face west(where i was standing in reference)
