Do you talk with the Lord a lot, or do you ignore him most of the time?

[36] "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?"
[37] And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
[38] This is the great and first commandment." Matt 22:36-38 RSV

Gal 5:14

For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
Gal 5:15

But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
Gal 5:16

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:17

For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would.
Gal 5:18

But if ye are led by the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

Gal 5:4

Ye are severed from Christ, ye who would be justified by the law; ye are fallen away from grace.

I doubt any who try to teach the Law has been talking with the "RISEN LORD":chin

1Ti 1:6

From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
1Ti 1:7

Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. :o

I try to keep him on my mind as much as possible. I talk to him a lot. Maybe I should listen to him more than I do.

The purpose of the thread is that I think some people do ignore him, even though they read the Bible. They ignore the commandment that we are to love him with all our hearts, minds, and souls.

I try to talk with Him as much as possible and I do pray every day, but I must confess that there are large portions of many days that I forget to think of HIm at all.:sad

I don't want to sound over righteous, Lord knows I have my faults; but I'm constantly either in prayer, worship, studying or listening to His Word in my car/truck. I'm a truck (18 wheeler) driver and I listen to no music most of the time. I have The Bible on audio CD and listen to that 98% of the time.
