Tax Records On Our House Disturbing

After checking the Harris County tax records on our house, we found names on those records trying to tie themselves to our property who have no association with us. Our estranged daughter being one of them. I figure she did this to gain access to the property and if caught could present false ID reflecting "residency".

I don’t know the system where you live. For us a yearly tax bill comes to us for our property addressed to my wife and I because our names are the ones on the deed. We have six children and only one is still living at home. I can’t imagine where or how any of their names would show up in the property tax records. But that is how it is in our county in Maryland.
I don’t know how one of our kids could possibly interject themselves into tax records.
I imagine one of them could, if so inclined, be claiming residency some other way such as to get their child into our schools or claim residency to receive some welfare type benefits from our jurisdiction. But none of that would get them into tax records.

I am sure this has come up, but do you consider the relationship with your daughter irreconcilable?

She turned on us to collect blood money and has been generously compensated for her efforts. I see no way to reconcile with her. We had multiple people tells us she was slandering us. One of the ways she was compensated was that her husband's company was awarded a navy contract which allowed them to live on a carribean island. When I told them contracts are bid on ,,,not handed out and threatened to go to a congressman about it....they suddenly came home and was given $350k house as consolation. She has a driver's license or something with our address tying her to our house. There is something else I'm afraid she did that sends chills up my spine I'm not at liberty to discuss that makes me want to keep maximum geographic distance from her. Our youngest son despises her.

You had a say in her husband getting a navy contract or just didn’t like him getting a navy contract?
You were involved enough to know they didn’t have to put in a bid?

Just before she turned on us, our daughter told us they were getting a navy contract through connections. After she thumbed her nose at us, I told her navy contracts are not handed out like candy (at least not legally) but must be bid on. I told her through the grapevine I might very well have my congressman look into this "contract". Suddenly they leave their paradise island and come back to Texas.

Finally a small victory. The real estate agent has chosen to do his job and list the house instead of repeatedly trying to funnel the house to his investor buddies. He was being very unethical.
