the beatitudes and the torah/writings

a challenge. find me any of them from the tanach(ot) and post them

I shall go first.

blessed are the meek... linked to numbers 12 for context, and number 12:3 for the gist of that idea. moses was a great man in that day and in both Christianity and Judaism a man especially for jews to be emulated. the eptitome of meek. consider this he took a life thinking he was right. he died strong and yet god broke him and He then says moses was the most meek on the earth! Moses was a well educated man and also had connections yet he gave that up to be under God's power and use.

For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek,
For they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful,
For they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God.

For they shall be called sons of God.

The torah I don't know about that.

The torah I don't know about that.

the torah is the first five books, without it. there wouldn't be a jesus to come. he is first mentioned in genesis 3.
which is part of the torah.im connected who willie t is saying that fact that in general you wont find the scriptures for the beatitudes in the ot. you can get some wording and implied concepts but not a direct word for word quote.

I have found two by memory. I posted one, another I will post again. I see another already.
