Even FNC managed to incorrectly accuse Clive Bundy about the remarks I, personally, wish he had not made but only because, had the media not gone this way would have accused him of playing the Race Card. Now, to the point. The government, as it was organized by the founding fathers had one job... to protect the people. There are many shades and possible colors to deal with when the BLM seizes land for any reason. The seizure in Nevada has revealed, for all to see, just how dirty Dirty Harry Reid is. Dirty Harry was not a rich man when he went to Washington but he is, if not the richest, one of the richest men in the Senate today. Dirty Harry accumulated all of the revenue during his tenure in the US Senate. On Public Servant wages? 'Nuff said there.

Noe the BLM is taking 90k of ranch and farm land in Texas! One rancher had or, maybe has, 1800 acres along the Red River to graze his cattle, you know, your round steak. With this illegal land grab, in the Public Domain?, takes one third of his land away without the reason being stated yet. Will they ever stop? Who is getting rich this time? Whose son or grandson is this land being stolen for?

Not going to happen, the accusations of racism are losing their cachet in view of larger issues.

What's going on in Nevada is far larger than any racial comment, even if the comment showed heart-felt racism. I don't think the patriots supporting Bundy give a crap about what's being obsessed about in the liberal head-spinning circles. They're focused on government corruption and abuse, as they should be. This confrontation is not going away.

YHWH created all things, all life, and has provided salvation in and through Jesus Christ to all who call on Him in faith, by grace, a free gift.

meanwhile, society, governments, schools, churches, politics, medicine, financial institutions, lawyers, and religious leaders,
go on as if , well, .... full stop! .... see what scripture says about all of these, step by step, Yhwh willing.... (it will almost certainly surprise you if
you don't already know). .. ..

p.s. knowing all about all of these and more just brings sorrow and pain and misery. it is not needed for salvation to know about the corrupt dealings
of men everywhere. simply and fully trust God, seek Him while He may be found. He has provided all that anyone needs to be redeemed, saved, and living His life now on earth and in His kingdom today and in the world to come. (not 'theologically', simply like a little child wide eyed in wonder at His amazing grace and generous provision for life!)

p.s. a decade or 3, give or take, ago, businesses, corporations, railroads, giants other than governments,
started taking peoples homes away, by law, by mis-using the 'right' of eminent domain (taking property the government says it needs for its purposes.).
several decades, perhaps centuries, ago, the church leaders took property away from families by many nefarious means; they often robbed and today more-so rob widows and orphans and complete families of their house and land and inheritance(s) and put them in abject poverty without blinking an eye.
the world we live in is NOT a nice place. (at least mankind is not).

something "GOOD" ought maybe to be offered before all this bad stuff is brought out, so as not to
take away or drain a persons life, joy, reason to live, reason to look forward, etc etc et al....

Jeff,
The Great Commission speaks directly against the general attitude I perceive from your post here. It is popular for Christians to spout that witnessing and leading the Lost to the LORD is the work of the Clergy but that not, in any way, true. And if we are to be obedient we must look to the LORD for our method of operation and use, expand on and adapt His MO into our attempts to do the work He assigned every Saved Man.

The only way a man or a woman can not be responsible to use any circumstance for witnessing is if they are lost and just being a member of a Church and having one's name on the roll is not Salvation. I might be able to read your post assaying the Lost need to read the scriptures but God has told us that the scriptures are a mystery to the Lost Man... so that doesn't work either. We are obligated to work for our LORD.
