The Breaking is Not the End”
Beloved,
I know this season feels like death.
You are letting go of everything you once clung to—
Your pride, your plans, your comfort, your identity.
And it hurts.
It feels like being buried.
It feels like being forgotten.
And in the silence, depression creeps in like a shadow.
But hear this truth:
This death is not the end.
It is the beginning of resurrection.
Yes, dying to yourself feels like darkness.
But even Jesus, when He gave Himself completely,
Was buried in a tomb before He rose in glory.
You are not being destroyed.
You are being transformed.
When you say, “Not my will, but Yours,”
Heaven leans in close.
The angels draw near.
And the Holy Spirit begins to do His deepest work—
Not in your strength,
But in your surrender.
Depression may whisper that you are alone.
But God says:
“Even here, I am with you. Even now, I am working.”
You are not forgotten in the fire.
You are being refined.
You are not abandoned in the garden.
You are being prepared for resurrection.
So rest, beloved.
Let the tears fall.
Let the false self fade.
Let the heaviness be laid down at His feet.
And trust—
That what feels like dying
Is actually becoming.
And what feels like the end
Is where true life begins.
