The Coming Rapture – No Smokers Allowed
I live in an area where drug use is rampant and where even Christians find the immorality of smoking a desirable and 'harmless' pursuit.
But consider that in the 25th chapter of Matthew Jesus Christ describes the coming rapture as 10 virgins waiting for the wedding party to arrive (hint: the rapture) to begin the wedding feast.
In the parable the 10 virgins are waiting for the wedding party to arrive but half have failed to prepare and are caught being excluded from the wedding feast as the door to the feast is shut and will not be reopened again.
Consider that in the parable of the 10 virgins, upon seeing the wedding party finally arrive (hint: the rapture), they all begin to trim their lamps. Trimming a lamp is where the flame produces 'NO SMOKE”, meaning that there will be no smokers allowed in the rapture!
Equally the waiting people are described as 10 virgins meaning that there will be NO Sexual impurity or deviancy (hint: no homosexuality) in those included in the rapture.
Isn't it interesting that in today's world legalized marijuana and homosexuality are being touted as the new 'liberation' of man's moral existence.
It is clear that trimming the lamp is a warning to all those who smoke, either drug and/or cigarettes, as they will be excluded from the wedding feast and hence excluded from the rapture. Additionally all those who practice sexual immorality and sexual deviancy will be excluded from the rapture!
The Rapture Draws Near For 5 of the 10 Virgins (hint: stop all sexual immorality)!
Trim Your Lamp (hint: stop all illicit drugs and cigarette use)!
Fill Your Lamp With Oil (hint: get baptized with the Holy Spirit by believing in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ)!
God Bless
