The Destruction of the Literal City of Babylon, and Harlot Babylon of False Religion from the Tower

8 And another angel followed, saying, "Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication."
9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand,
10 "he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
11 "And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."

The rebuilt city of Babylon is destroyed (not religious Babylon False Religion), the capital of the Grecian Roman Empire of the Antichrist. This happens after the False Christ Adonikam declares he is the "son of Destruction" seed of Satan Antichrist and requires everyone to take his Mark and worship him. Russia Iran Turkey reject the "New World Order" of the Beast.

Later, the Harlot False Religion Babylon the Great (all the worlds religions that arose from the ancient Tower of Babylon) is destroyed, because the Antichrist wants all worship to go to him alone. That is when his ten-nation political base destroys the Harlot Babylon, she is now in opposition to the new religion of the Beast. The fall of Babylon (false religion) is revealed in c. 17-18.

Here is the chronology:

Babylon ascends from the abyss because it is rebuilt using fallen angel Technolgy (Rev. 9:1-3. 2Thess. 2:9). The city's supernatural character inspires men to worship the Dragon commander and Adonikam who appears invincible (Rev. 13:3-4. Dan. 9:27; 11:36-39).

Rebuilt Babylon "will go off into destruction" fulfilling all written (Jer. 50:3, 13, 39-40; 51:29; Rev. 18:2-10). Forces from her North Russia Iran Turkey destroy her (Jer. 50:41-42; 51:47-48) but ultimately it was God's judgment against her (Rev. 17:16-17; 18:8; Isa. 13:19-22; Jer. 51:63-64; Rev. 18:21).
