The whole passage goes on to describe the disembodied state our spirits will be in (2 Corinthians 5:1-8) longing to be "clothed upon" with our resurrected / perfected bodies (Romans 8:23b / 1 Corinthians 15:51-53) and that will happen in the general resurrection (1 Thessalonians 4:13-8 / Revelation 20:11-15). Believers will not be judged in the Revelation 20 judgment but rather in the Bema seat judgment afterward (Romans 14:10-12 / 1 Corinthians 3:12-15 / 2 Corinthians 5:10).
To date Jesus Christ is the only resurrected man. He sits on his Father's throne in heaven. When believers die we go in spirit only to be with him. When he returns with his believers spirit (Jude 14) the general resurrection takes place after the consumption of the armies in the holy land (Armageddon) and the destruction of the present heaven - earth situation (when the new heaven-earth begins). Judgment. Bema judgment. Eternity with God.
