I have something to say along this topic, but if it doesn't belong here, please feel free to move to the appropriate forum.
Around 10 years ago now, I had two dreams close together that seemed rather apocalyptic.
I was walking along a long walkway that was completely covered overhead on my way into a record store. I ran into an old friend that I went to a college group bible study with. They walk up to me and they ended up holding onto my hand and I was given a vision:
There were four angels that were levitating and they looked so fake that it was laughable. Their eyes and smiles looked similar to Play-Doh eyes and smiles. Their bodies were entirely covered in gold. As a stared at them, the gold began to chip off like paint. Beneath, was darkness. As more of the paint chipped off, the darker everything became - I could feel it. They looked like shadows of darkness with smiles full of sharp teeth and glaring red eyes. The vision ends.
My old friend lets my hand go and says, "The Golden Angels are coming!" and walks away. I then walk into the small record store and then see myself walking out and getting lost in a cityscape. Skyscrapers absolutely everywhere. No recognizable scenery - you can barely see the sky. I was lost.
I was viewing different interpretations of the book of Revelation through YouTube a month or two ago. I came across one where they had an infographic art type of presentation. There were four symbols representing human beings and they were dark colored and each was holding a trumpet. I thought, "This feels familiar." I listened to the words and remembered my first dream I had years ago.
I'm not an expert on interpretation and perhaps there are other meanings that I'm not aware of. At this point I'm curious if it has to do with Revelation 9, the sixth trumpet with the four fallen angels bound beneath the Euphrates. It would make sense if it was - the fake representation of angels that were good, but that's definitely not what was revealed on the inside. A trumpet can also be golden and there is a golden altar mentioned. In my dream, there were four of them, and in this scripture - it describes four fallen angels.
With the words, "The golden angels are coming," perhaps it speaks for itself? This was 10 years ago, but God's perception is time is not the same as ours, and there's no way for us to know when, but this makes "when" feel fairly soon.
Revelation 9:13-15 NIV:
The sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice coming from the four horns of the golden altar that is before God. It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind.

The Second Dream:
This shortly followed the first. I was riding in the car with my mom. We were in the big city, sky scrapers lining both sides as we focus on the road ahead. We start seeing what looks like a fireball crash into the road further ahead. We start talking, not sure what we're seeing and more fireballs follow. My mom stops the car as traffic comes to a halt and I unbuckle and rush out of the car and hide beside a large sky scraper. I look around, assuming my mom followed me, but she didn't. I became terrified of the thought that something bad happened to her.

Over the years, these dreams keep coming to mind. I haven't forgotten about them. I feel that they have deeper meaning. There are common themes to both of them, which makes it a bit eerie.
