[_ Old Earth _] The Great Alaskan Dinosaur Adventure

Hi Dave,

I took my children to a seminar in Jefferson City, Missouri last year to hear Ken Ham, and Buddy Davis. It was a family conference , but one of the evenings there was a preview of the Great Alaskan Dinosaur Adventure. Buddy Davis, one of the five men, shared with us about that trip. The part I remember, was one of the professors fell into something like quick sand. He also showed us a video. It was a blessing, as well as being really neat. I had to be reminded of this by my eight year old, because it was a year ago. Even if I could remember all the details about it, I probably didn't get as many as he did because I was a single mom sitting with three children, and my youngest was a handful that night. :) Anyway, the other four men were not present. I would actually like to go to that one myself, I know my boys would...enjoy.

Blessings

Thanks lovely. this part really jumped out at me...

When did these bones freeze and how long have they been frozen?...If we can find numerous biomolecules in the Alaskan bones, it may help us to show that these bones can't realistically be 70 million years old. For instance, scientists from the University of Montana were surprised to find what might be the chemical remains of blood cells in the bones of a Tyrannosaurus rex. Even the scientists admit the cells should have long ago disintegrated. The process of biochemical decay starts soon after death. Imagining how these molecules could stay preserved for millions and millions of years is difficult.

I remember watching a show on TV where this man recognized that a gouged out groove in the spine of a duck billed Dinosaur fossil needed to be looked at closer. He put two and two together and realised that it was in fact a groove made by a T-Rex tooth. Many people who had seen this mark before never even questioned it (Science?). Anyways, I remember that just after watching that documentary, a fews days later on another documentary a man found a similar mark on a mastodon, and it was flippantly written off as most likely a spear mark. (Again, science?) These so called experts are so bias that I wonder if they can ever discover anything. Why not at least consider the possibility that their theories are wrong and that it actually could be a T-Rex, or something other than a spear. And they wonder why people have no faith in science these days...

These documentaries and what little I know about the Great Alaskan Dinosaur Adventure have really peeked my interest. :-)

In Christ

As it turns out, the bones found in Alaska are not fossilized in one particular way, but were most likely fossilized in a different way.

:-? OMG What a mess!!! One of these guys (Buddy Davis) is a "recording artist touring w/ Answers In Genesis"???? Sheesh.

...and a "Masters Degree", granted from the Creation Research Institute??? (John Whitmore)....

...and a Dentiist as welll - maybe he's studying the fossil teeth??

:bday: ...and then...the "ULTIMATE FIND".....

I yelled back to Buddy and Dan to see if they could take a look at the tan rock I had spotted six inches from the water line with black coloring in it. ..Buddy reached out of the raft and hauled the eighty pound specimen into the boat.
ONE GUY hauled in an "80 pound" rock into a boat....GET OUTTA HERE!!!
The specimen Buddy hauled in turned out to be the jaw of a duck billed dinosaur ...
GET OUTTA HERE!!! :bday: This is the "recording artist for AIG", right???
We were all praising the Lord that we had been allowed to find something so amazing!
Yeah, uh-huh..... :bday:
After collecting everything we could find, ....
Wow!! - An entire crew of impulsive liars?? :o
...George is quietly singing praises to our mighty Creator.

Thinking back over the day, it has absolutely been amazing. Thanks Lord for your perfect timing, and giving us the privilege to do your work.
...so paleontological field research is "the Lord's work" now???....and grizzled old archeological diggers lay around "singing praises to our Mighty Creator"??? GET OUTTA HERE!!! :-D

....but they were fossils nonetheless. I mean....what is your point w/ this??? :-?

"One particular way" vs. a "different way"???

(I'm on your side here.)

The description they used when they said "unfossilized" meant not fossilized in the traditional manner, yet still fossilized in a different way.

ermm...ok - it just seems a bit in the grey area....but NOWHERE near as vague as what tha heck a "recording artist for AnswersInGenesis" would do for a living!! :silly:
