We see on our TV screens the great tragedy that happened at Virgina Tech.I often wonder what in the world is going on in America. People are talking about gun control, blaming anyone who didn't do their job, parents need to love their children and love each other. Some of these things are well and good, but I think we miss what the real tragedy is. I would imagine some of those students died without knowing Jesus as their Lord and Savior. This is happening all over the world; people dying without knowing their Savior. People are going to hell as a result of not accepting Christ. Are we to sit silently while this happerns? I hope not. Therefore, let's get down on our knees and pray. Let me lead this forum in prayer.

Oh, Father God, the God of all love and peace. We thank you for being our God, our healer, our delivererer, our problem solver, our oone and only living God, and our compassionate understanding God. I pray for the parents and friends of the deprted in this massacre that happenned at Virgina Tech. I pray that you comfort them in their time of need. I pray that you touch their hearts annd heal them. I pray that that you send laborers and angels across their paths, and they come to the saving knowledge of your Son Jesus Christ. Also, Father please forgive us if we miss an appointment to preach to the lost. Now, we pray these things in the Name of Jesus, and everyone says AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May God bless, Golfjack

A big Amen to that...I was thinking the very same thing when it happened...

AMEN

Please Father, soften their hearts...open their ears... and give the lost a yearning for understanding and Truth... your Son, our Savior. Let them know that there is meaning and value in their lives. That you Lord, love them very much. That you have a plan for them.

amen

I agree to all that you've posted here. Some time back I posted an article on differeent prayer groups & maybe even this one. I think we need to continue to push "Dare to be a Daniel" to our teens & young adults. This program is for youn adults & teens & is posted on the Billy Graham website at http://www.billygraham.org
Our teens & young adults need to reached, they need to know who God is & that He loves them, that He is a source of comfort & strength for them at all times. Please spread the word to all that you know. Thanks & God Bless-
