no, its not. that isn't able to be done . it will fly but the problem is fuel costs. its not efficient and also the fact well someone with high bp, heart conditions and other such like cant fly.never mind the the ability to control the air space. I live in a pilots haven. three or more air ports within 20 miles. 4 private air strips. one you used to face north near the air port. I will post that old and it was usnt much. it couldn't look at how close it was to the bigger one.
where the word survey ends on the bottom is the old airport that went inactive in the late 80s; it was mainly used for crop dusters. the school to the north wouldn't allow the birds to take off over them so they had to come from the north to land and the south to take off. that puts them in the bigger air ports air space. imagine that air traffic if both were equally active and you will see the point

Interesting little plane .... but I wouldn't want to fly it. It reminds me of a jester's cap of olde.

The map is cool ... thanks!

ok that is on old map. the air port to the bottom doesn't exist any more. its now a gated/deed restricted community. theres another strip that isn't seen in that map to the west that was as active as the other one.an old man barn stormed out of that a lot. he would do that for hours and always on the weekends. from sun to sun down.

Some of the fly-in breakfasts around the Midwest will occasional feature barn-stormers. Talented pilots... great performances.

the man im talking bout flew until his death. he was doing that stuff in his 80's and I think 90's

I have always found it amazing how farm land is from a birds eye views, like the OP for example. They are always in perfect squares or rectangles.
show me where you are talking about? some of that isn't farm land.its just woods. I know what the farming would be either its cattle, or groves. no much of that in this old pic as that would be west and south of the air port.

How much would something like that cost? Bet a fortune!

not to mention maintance, faa style. periodic air frame checks, and also other things. a rich man's toy that's all.

Around here they use pivots so we have circles... along with the rectangles :)

I should have zoomed in the sewer plant. it would have no cover then and looked like that pic of reba

Someone good with photo-shop would have fun with creating such a picture!

Think of the immediate craze that picture would cause!
