The Lord and the Bible

I hear people say the Lord and the Bible are the same thing. If this were true, then the Bible could save you, but it can’t. Only the Lord can save you.

This is good news. There is a loving Lord who takes care of us and answers all our prayers.

But be careful—he will let us suffer if we don’t repent of our sin.
 
They're obviously not the same thing, the holy scriptures are inspired by God and they are His words.. they are SPIRIT and they are LIFE as He says in John 5.. they are living and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword.. the word of God is precisely how each and every believer is born again, and not only that, but how they grow up into Him in all things..

It's the letter of the King of kings... how important do you think that is ?

And as my sig says... they are for ever settled in Heaven.

Elijah23, The Bible is not God, but it is the written Word of God. Jesus Christ is the living Word of God, God manifest in the flesh. Jesus saves, and His Spirit is the One Who gives proper understanding of the Bible (John 16:13). In Erie Scott
