Pretty much every Christian has some idea of the "Rapture." My interperetation tends not to coincide with most people's idea of the Rapture, so I'm wondering where the general idea came from. So I have a few questions to ask.

- What is the Rapture to you? As in, what do you think will happen in it?

- Regardless of pre/mid/post-trib theories, which Scriptures support the Rapture?

- What's up with the Rapture and 144,000, in your opinion? How do they relate?

There is no such thing in the Bible.....when Jesus returns it will be visible and the saints where ever they are will be changed and resurrected if dead and rise up into the sky to meet Jesus. Jesus is not coming to take Christians away to Heaven; He is coming back to give us our reward and to rule on the Earth.

The rapture is the transformation of saints from their carnal bodies into their eternal bodies that will happen in the twinkling of an eye at the second coming of the Messiah Jesus. Dead saints will be resurected into their eternal bodies while living stains at the time will be transformed into their eternal bodies. All the saints will be caught up into the sky to meet the Returning Messiah Jesus and will come down with Him to rule the earth.

Supporting scriptures:
Matthew 24. 27-31
Luke 17. 29-36
1 Corrinthians 15. 49-54

The 144,000 are not saints. I believe they are what the book of Revealtion clearly reveals them to be 14,000 innocents from each of the 12 tribes of isreal the remnant redeemed from the earth.
