The story in Scripture about Jesus's triumphant entry into Jerusalem riding the donkey colt...could be a prophetic shadow of the last days. Now. Huh. Check me on this.

What was the triumphant entry all about anyway? It has to have deeper meaning because that's how God rolls. Let's take a look at it. I like Mark's account of it because it's so detailed.

Mark 11:1-7
11 As they approached Jerusalem, near the towns of Bethphage and Bethany, they came to the Mount of Olives. Jesus sent two of his disciples on ahead 2 with these instructions: “Go to the village there ahead of you. As soon as you get there, you will find a colt tied up that has never been ridden. Untie it and bring it here. 3 And if someone asks you why you are doing that, say that the Master needs it and will send it back at once.”
4 So they went and found a colt out in the street, tied to the door of a house. As they were untying it, 5 some of the bystanders asked them, “What are you doing, untying that colt?”
6 They answered just as Jesus had told them, and the crowd let them go. 7 They brought the colt to Jesus, threw their cloaks over the animal, and Jesus got on.../(kjv)

A prophetic shadow of the end times? Jesus said to go up the road, you'll find a colt which has never been ridden...(it's untrained, never been ridden, never been loaded up as a pack animal...so is essentially useless)...and that is the donkey that he chooses to ride upon for His entry into Jerusalem to be it's (ours) King.

Sound familiar? That's us. Untrained in spiritual protocol, kingdom matters, or the kingdom court system, which will be set up and operating through the millennium...

With Jesus being the first and only rider of the untrained colt. Not only that, but what does the apostles do? They toss (all) of their coats (mantles) onto the back of the colt!

Do you understand the significance of that?! All of the apostles mantles are upon us. Their anointings...their duties and responsibilities are upon us. What the apostles did, we shall do, and more.

For our Lord's triumphant return and setting up shop to rule from the throne of David for the millennium.

This ain't the, well the apostles power to heal and cast out devil's died off with the apostles age, but rather the age of God's signs & wonders to a sinful generation that needs to see to believe age.

God is changing the church worldwide and things will be different. The raising of the dead, (or people dying in church (ala Annanaius & wife) is coming back, to be the new norm for christianity again). He will make Himself a church without spot or blemish.

With a bunch of untrained colts, who have never had a rider before...with you...

Yes? No? Comments?

All I can say at this point is that it's interesting and thought provoking....I haven't heard that take on it. Nevertheless, I do believe the Church will return to it's early roots(active gifts in every form) out of necessity.
