My wife and I were really troubled when we saw this yesterday.. :crying:
It is such ashame that someone can just toss a precious baby in the trash like that! There are so many people that can't have kids and probably would give anything to have this baby! I would!

Yes, this is sad, and the shock of the mother of her boyfriend that found the baby must have been unbelievable.

This is what this generation is reaping when they hold the values that there are no more moral absolutes (the the 'educational' system definitely does not help). If it feels good do it, and when "things" get old or unwanted, throw them out.

For those that denounce biblical teaching but rely on their own (humanistic) ways to teach kids, we have to ask ourselves is the world getting better or worse? How long will it take before they see all this is not working? But that's way too much commonsense for them to understand.

I know, I mean for goodness sakes, they even have those drop boxes at hospitals so you can drop your unwanted baby off! It is certainly better then throwing them in the trash! The have made it so easy for these mothers and yet you still see this happening, It's truley a sad thing! :crying:

I am confused by your suggestion that the educational system has anything to do with this. It is up to parents to teach their children moral values. It is up to parents to forge positive, open relationships with their children such that a child will feel alright about coming to them with a problem. Did you notice any mention of the girl's parents in the story? Where were they?

This is not a religious issue, its a parenting issue.

I thought this was going to be about the dogs again so I didn't want to click the link so I just read the posts instead.

I agree about parents should be teaching their kids values. When that fails, the schools fill in--- and they've been trying to teach "right" to the dismay of some parents that actually want to teach their kids their values over that of the schools, the street, and the rest of society. This is what the generation is reaping.

Then again, I don't want to judge the parents. We know what the girl did, and the bible teaches everyone is responsible for their own sin. If I cite the parents in any way (which you are implying) then that would be presumptuous. And BTW, parenting and families are very much a "religious" issue. The bible is replete with marriage, reproduction and children which is meant to be between a married man, woman, and resulting children.

Do the schools teach that these days? No. then they are wrong. Period.

Kids spend many hours under the influence and indoctrination of an increasingly more liberal and humanistic school system.

Religion and parenting go hand in hand, as Tim pointed out.

Schools are blatantly perverting the Truth of God's Word.
