Mockers often mock "Jesus is just a crutch".

I was thinking. He's more than a crutch. Thanks to Jesus Christ, I have energy and strength to even hold onto the crutch.

Thank you Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father I thank you for your promises, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me. I praise You for Your faithfulness in my life. You are worthy to receive all the glory and honor. For He God Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let you down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]

So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me? In Jesus name - Amen.

I forget where I heard this. But I heard a quote where someone said "You did not let God down. You were never holding him up to begin with".

like the man born blind then healed by Yeshua - he didn't know anything or who Yeshua was even -= just told those who asked him, "I was blind, and now I see" I don't know how, or who He is Who did this, but I can see now and I couldn't see anything before !
