Has Anybody seen this show yet? I've been watching it on Netflix and I have mixed opinions and feelings about it. I love tigers and they're one of my favorite animals and my favorite wild animal. Emphasis on the wild part because I believe that's how they should be treated, and these magnificent animals shouldn't be kept in cages.
They're way too beautiful and unless they have enclosures big enough for them to run around then they should be kept in the wild. Although I really don't consider it abuse as long as these beautiful animals are being cared for properly financially, physically, and emotionally wise,.. but he the guy (Joe Exotic) also had a murder for hire plot going on as well to destroy this woman from Big Cat Rescue.
So I'm pretty sure that's what got him busted,.. but the only time I saw him actually physically hit a cat is after they grabbed him by the leg, but that just goes to show that he shouldn't have had them in the first place. Also, depending on how he killed the cows to feed his cats might have been animal cruelty, and he shouldn't have just been getting horses and then shooting them and killing them to feed them, but at least he was feeding them. Anyways, although I'm definitely against the private ownership and breeding of lions and tigers and such,.. but I really don't see how they were being abused.
