Greetings fellow saints and saintettes ;-)

I'm appealing to all my brothers and sisters in the Lord for prayer in what we've really all been commanded to do by our Lord.

He told us to go to ALL THE NATIONS and make DISCIPLES...to baptize them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - TEACHING them to observe all the He has commanded us. (Matt. 28:18-20)

Well right now...I suppose I'm accepting that challenge by teaching everyone reading this that He has commanded us to make disciples. He didn't say make "decisions" for Christ...but "disciples". The word disciple means disciplined person...who will need to be trained up in the ways of the Lord. Disciplined in the principles and statutes of our Lord...so that we can be in His presence and share in His holiness! That's awesome news!

Everyone in some form or another can contribute to the Great Commission...not only "can" they, but they're commanded to. Some may have been called to leave all to minister and teach His truth fulltime...as their full time job. Some may have been blessed to have been given riches in which they can support ministers to advance His kingdom. Afterall...the only way these ministers can do what they've been called to do is by the financial support of the faithful who's heart is to advance God's Kingdom.

So what exactly am I asking for here??

Well, about 2 years ago I received the call to go into fulltime ministry. I've been neglecting that call for these last two years as I felt that if it was God's will He would just magically give me all the finances I would need to do so...and I took it as a confirmation that it wasn't His will when I saw my account didn't increase in money by itself. Imagine that! :-D

So, now that I've come to the revelation that God doesn't work like that for most people, I've changed my tactics. Of course He could...but even Jesus' ministry wasn't financed by falling cash from heaven. He relied on the people to give to Him out of their personal means. All provision comes from the Lord in the first place...so I guess we could say God did provide Jesus with what He needed. The phrase it is better to give than to receive wouldn't make sense unless this is a "kingdom principle".

So, what I'm preaching here is that I'm about to go back to school to learn how to evangelize cross-culturally...specifically on the greatest harvest opportunity around - the American University. This harvest contains the rulers of tomorrow from all over the world and people at an age where they are most open to the Gospel - as they're searching for answers to life's greatest questions.

The Bible says "ask and ye shall receive", so I'm asking for prayer and asking for obedience to the Great Commission. I'm devoting my life to this Commission and I can't do it unless the Lord provides me the resources to do so. I know He will...but He can only do it through people who are faithful to this Great Commission in their finances.

We know that Paul told the Phillipean church that God will supply their need according to His riches in glory...that was the only church he mentioned that to, why? Because that was the only church who supplied Paul with the resources he needed to spread the Word.

Anyways...the need has been expressed, now I can only count on the Lord to send the resources. I'll be the sendee...I just need a sender now ;-) Thank you for your love,

Justin
