To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. Revelation 3:21

Now you've done it. How dare you come here and speak the truth?! In the religious traditions of men, we get saved and that's it. There's nothing to overcome because we're saved.

This scripture, along with Philippians 2:12 are those deep deep scriptures which don't really mean what they say. Or they're just talking to old time apostles which have no life application for us. After all, Acts 16:31 says all we have to do is to believe, right?

:confused :lol

At least you do understand about who is that overcomer, but about us being saved, once saved always saved I don't believe that because, a person would have to continue in the sayings of christ to know the whole truth in an matter/issue. John 8:31-32, and as far as your first part about, There is nothing to over come because we're saved. This is not true because it is a lots of area to cover, it is just the start of our salvation. I call it a christain walk with Christ, in following his steps. I Peter 2:21.

Exactly. I agree whole-heartedly, Brother. I do not agree with OSAS either. There's just too many warnings in scripture, and a statement about names being blotted out of the book of life. That was a prayer from an OT chap praying about his enemies, but nevertheless...the statement was made, blot their names out of the BoL, and that to me suggests that it may be possible for such a thing to happen. So I'd rather have an error in faith than perhaps unwarranted confidence.

Scripture does say that many who think that they're going to heaven...will not.

Many in the church think that's blasphemy. No way could someone sit on Christs throne hes to Holy. Well, Christ said the overcomer has the right to sit with him on his throne. Im keen, seek the Kingdom of God and sit with Christ on his throne.

See Christ is not selfish or exalts himself above mankind. He wants people to sit with him on his throne.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb (The Cross of Christ, i.e., The Finished Work), and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12:11

The power to overcome and overwhelm the Kingdom of Satan is found exclusively in the Blood of the Sacrifice of the Son of God, and our Faith in that Finished Work [Romans 6:3, 5, 11, 14]. The "testimony" must pertain to the fact that the Object of our Faith is the Cross, and exclusively the Cross, which then gives the Holy Spirit latitude to work within our lives. The Believer must not change his testimony regarding the Cross to something else, even if it means death.

7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:7-8
