The warning

Lukewarm Christians

Revelation 3:16 lukewarm Christians are those who sit in the church and believe the message of the gospel but are not really sold out to Jesus and not meaningfully engage in his mission. It is the kind of “Christian” that Jesus is describing in the three parables in Matthew 25
Cold Christian?
Christ's followers do all the right things without a bit of love, many marriage have fallen apart because there was an affair or abuse or abandonment, but because there was no love in the marriage
All of this can be caused by spiritual depression, In the marriage
Christs respond to this type of behavior

For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.

This means theirs is not many words that he will not speak of for them he has nothing to say to them!

The Overcomer
John 16:20-22 (ESV) Truly, truly, I say to you, you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You, be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn into joy.
When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.
So also, you have sorrow now, but I will see you again and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.
Interrogation
In Revelation 2: You will be interrogated for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

The cleansing of the temple
