And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

The popular idea that there is a seven year tribulation ahead of us is absurd. Equally absurd is the idea that this tribulation is for unbelievers only. The Church has always been under persecution and martyrdom.

The Church has been in tribulation since the stoning of Stephen and grows worse as the population expands. The great tribulation is the entire church age or the symbolic 1,000 years. Without a doubt there is tribulation in our future, but it is just a continuation of what has been since the first century. The book of Revelation is the way that God reigns in the midst of his enemies.

Up to the year 2000 about 70,000,000 Christians have died for their faith. It's probably more like 72-74 million in 2011. Futurists totally ignore these people and have taken the book of Revelation out of their hands and have exported it to yet our future. The book of Revelation was directly written to those believers on my list. We only understand this book by discovering first what the book meant to them. Then we apply its content to ourselves in 2011.

Yes, they were.

John the apostle was one that was not killed.....

9 I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.(Rev.1:9)

Interesting silence on part of the futurist, dont you think?

What is a tribulation saint?I ask because some assume that these are those that were left behind after the so called rapture,if this is what your asking then the answer is no........

Revelation 20:4 "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."

Though their bodies are in the tombs and have decayed, millions of Christian brothers and sisters have lost their lives for the witness of Jesus Christ over the past two thousand years. Also receiving rewards are those that have not bowed to the Antichrist in the five month period of deception coming up shortly, nor did they take his mark through the deception, nor accepted his ways (image) in their minds. If you believe in the rapture theory, you will worship Satan. Mark 13 and Matthew 24 makes it clear that the Antichrist will come first. The "rapture theory" teaches that you will be lifted out by the first messiah, and that first messiah is the Antichrist.

Hi Hitch,
You also get silence when you ask Futurists to name just one of their speculations that have come to pass in the last 60 years. There are none. Would you believe someone with a zero credibility rating?

Revelation was written to these people and not directly to us.

I am a Tribulation Saint, since by the Grace of God I'm a Saint, and we are now in the tribulation..

There is a great tribulation to come. God will purge His church to actually conform with a Bride having neither spot nor wrinkle.

So yes the saints described are coming out of the tribulation. But there are also other saints that have gone before. But the first will be last and the last will be first.

The first resurrection is for ALL the saints that have ever been. But the majority of them will be added during the time of great purging...the great tribulation before the end. God will do a work unlike any other that has preceded it. :nod

Do you think the rapture will come before the 'great tribulation '?

Arnold Murray is the antichrist.
