To be honest I've seen several end times movies, and as with a lot of Christian endeavours in the arts world, they were substandard; in fact they were mediocre. It worries me that the biblically illiterate will watch these films as a lazy alternative to serious study and prayer. A film by definition can only present one eschatological interpretation. If you can make a better film than these, then go for it; you'll probably find people who will want to watch it.

A film on the end times could be a good idea, then again a bad idea.

Much will depend on the script, the direction and the quality of acting.

Then we have to see if it is correct doctrinally.

Then avoid anything too corny!

I found the left behind film so strange, the christians raptured and a pile of neatly folded clothes left behind--but no underwear! So people get raptured in their undies!

We are working to make this film go along the line of Revelation.
I to have seen those films Left Behind, Omega Code etc. and I feel they left many questions as to answers.
The problem with Christian films is the producer try to make them to Clean without Violence and blood etc, however the truth is this will be the most bloody time in history.
We at Magi Pictures want to make a film that shows what we and other Christians believe will come to pass.
The Bible says all people free and bond, rich or poor will be made to take the mark of the beast or go to the death, we want to show just a little bit of what that maybe like. No one could ever get it right as we have never seen anything like it before, the nearest we have ever gotten was the Holocaust of the Jews from the 1930's to 1945 hoever the last days or Tribulation (Time of Terror) will be the worst ever as Jesus Stated in the book of Matthew. We do not want a weak film that only goes half way but one that gets as close as possible to the truth.
I believe Mel Gibson really opened peoples eyes that Christians can handle Violence and blood and the story the passion was the best Jesus Film made to date. We want a film that will open believers and sinners eyes to the truth that God loves them and shows the price Jesus paid and how we can fight the good fight. Bruce Marchiano,best portrayal of Jesus ever!

I totally believe that Bruce Marchiano played Jesus better than anyone ever in the history of man,except for Jesus Christ himself,amen.
Only our Lord Jesus could do it better and he does,but as far as actors go,Bruce Marchiano was best. I have that movie,the gospel according to Matthew and it's my favorite. It shows My Lord Jesus the way I truly believe he is,and I know the real Jesus is even better,because man just cannot play Jesus exactly as he is,yet Bruce did a great job at trying,and there is no way to top him unless you have the real Jesus Christ to do it.
Also,Mel Gibson used porn stars in his movie,and to me that was just pure wrong and pure evil.
I hope those women will be saved,and I truly mean that,but my cousin told me about that movie already.she liked it,but I don't ever want to see it.
There needs to be more christian actors in christian movies with alot of prayer going on while it's being made.
I know that are worldly people who played in christian movies,like in the movie about the book of Acts. The man who played Stephen did and excellent job,yet I couldn't help but feel sad when I found out he was worldly. I prayed for him though,and I hope he knows how great he was at playing Stephen,and I hope he remembers and chooses to accept salvation one day soon.
I believe in the pre-trib rapture,but not exactly like some of the christian entertainment movies show it to be.
To me there should be more christian movies in general,and more movies about the whole entire bible,then getting to the book of Revelation. I believe people should have a better understanding of the bible first before getting into the end times.
Either way,the world does need more christian movies based on just the bible alone and not swayed toward any one religion or denomination.
People just don't read the bible as they should today and most don't even have a clue about what it says.People need to understand all of the bible.
Has anyone ever tried to show the book of Daniel yet?

Not only joy,but also compassion,yet firmness,and the way he scolded those religious leaders,and the powerful emotions that went into all of it was so real.
When Jesus prayed to The Holy Father before he was to be hung on the cross,and the way he led the disciples with gentleness and complete love,yet being firm when he had to be was excellent because that has to be so tough to get on film. It was an excellent movie on so many levels,but most of all on showing how Jesus truly is.

This is true no one can know of the time or the way it will go, however we are told by Jesus that we can tell the fig tree by its fruits. In some ways we can have a general idea of what will take place.

If we look at the past ww1 ww2 etc. then we can see some of what those days will be. Can we ever get it right, "NO" but we can show just a bit of what may come, no matter what we protrey can never match the real thing.

I believe that God has given us a very great way to show is love.
Many people today will not go to church, but will go to a move like the Matrix or Lord of the Rings. So if we can reach them this same way why not go for it.

Magi pictures is working to make that possible to all Christians and Non-Christians alike. As Jesus quoted the sick need a doctor not the well, so the non-believers need the word and the good news, we christians already know the great good news.
