Vision of a Tree Stump
This morning, while in prayer, I saw a vision of a dried-up tree stump that had seen better days. The stump was beginning to crumble and fall apart due to the various climates it had weathered. Then I saw a small green sprout starting to grow from the stump. It grew leaves and started to spring up as the sun and the rain began to give it life. The stump produced sustenance the tree needed, which was rooted firmly in the ground, although drying out and dying.

Then it grew into a large tree with many branches and leaves. Birds began to nest in its branches, providing shade for many animals. It generated a microclimate, like it was a world within itself. Separated from the dense forest that covered other smaller trees from the light. Then I heard music surrounding that tree. A song from Isaiah 61:3
Vision Ended.

What is the meaning of this vision?
How is this vision related to Isaiah 61:3?

It relates to this forum. We have "cut it down" about as far as it can go in terms of eliminating members to were given over to strife, and as of a few weeks ago it appeared to be on the verge of dying. Very little activity. But the stump is the history of this forum, and the many people who have passed through here. This forum is firmly rooted in the ground because it has been around for twenty years, and survived many things. Maybe some left because there was too much strife, or not enough friendship and love being shown to them, but we will now be changing that. It is going to grow into a large and well-inhabited forum, with the "many branches and leaves" representing various denominations and doctrinal beliefs being represented here, as was intended from its inception. But it will be in peace, and the forum will become a world unto itself. The Spirit of Love will be upheld here, and proper Christian conduct be enforced, because nothing of God grows in an atmosphere of strife. This is why the other "trees" will not receive light like we will. And the music mentioned at the end of the vision is the music of harmony. Music is beautiful when it is harmonious, not discordant.

Isaiah 6:3 deals with when a spirit of despair is replaced with one of praise, and how that which the Lord has planted will be as it were a display of His splendor.

Isaiah 61:1-3
1 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, 2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, 3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

As soon as I read the title of this vision I instantly thought of the church. The body of Christ has in many ways become a dried out stump and there is a coming revival that will bring forth many fruits and I also agree with Hidden In Him that it represents this forum as well.

As I type this I see a tree stump that has rotted and is being uprooted being replaced with a single seed that is of the olive variety

Actually, in this vision the stump becomes food for the growth that will spring up, so rather than being uprooted the stump becomes the basis for what the tree will become. But you make a good point that it might represent the end-time church as well (though in this case there are reasons internally for thinking it may refer to this forum more specifically. What you are seeing may apply more to the church).

The rotted stump in what I just saw I do not think is the same stump in this vision rather a different one entirely something about removing the chaff from the wheat comes to mind and also cutting something out; about cutting off from the vine and pruning it or something like that.

But while I may be correct about it being of the end time church I also think it is about this forum as well and in fact I know it is

Let me add this too before I take off. When Jesus cursed the fig tree, it was a symbol of what had become of Israel. The leadership had become severely corrupted, and as a result they would have to be entirely dug up and replaced with the new leadership of the church. This was the meaning of his story about the tree that produced no fruit and the worker said, "Let me fertilize it, and if it still produces no fruit I will dig it up from the roots and throw it out" (paraphrase). The Lord gave Israel one more shot, but they still rejected Him, so judgment came and the Romans destroyed their temple and scattered them.

With this forum, there may well have been Spirit-filled and good-hearted members here in the past who in returning would help form the basis of what will be built. There are still some here now, who have long been here and waited for a better day. So in this case the entire thing has not needed to be uprooted to start over. What God planted here in the past will serve as the basis for what it will grow into in the future, so it's a slightly different situation.

Well I would say you are correct in your thinking perhaps the stump I saw has to do with the church in particular as that is basically my ministry

I am curious though to see how this vision will play out it will be exciting to see for sure I am still new here so I can only imagine the time and effort you put in to keep this place neat and clean and I believe your efforts will be rewarded with a large produce of fruits

I hope so. That's the plan anyway. :ThumbBig
