Vision Of A Blue Idol
This morning after coming back from the gym, I was out back spending time with the lord when I saw a vision of a blue idol with one hand raised. This idol turned into a picture that was ripped in half. I saw that idol again; this time a giant foot stood on it and crushed it to powder. The hand picked up the powder and threw it onto a burial mound. Vision Ended.

As I shared with you in private, sister, and will do so here (I think it's worth sharing publicly), sometimes people who believe in the doctrine of sinless perfection can hold themselves up as a type of Idol. Christ Jesus our Lord taught, "Be holy, for I am Holy," but He did not teach that we will ever cease to be human and imperfect. To think we have become Christ and can never sin anymore is itself sin, and teaching a false doctrine. He seeks to enter in and manifest Himself through us, but our righteousness will never be of ourselves. Those who teach this make themselves an idol, and that idol must be crushed to powder, if we would truly have a place in Heaven. In some ways it might be one of the worst things of all to take glory away from Christ and place it upon ourselves after all He has said and done for us.

Pray for the brother in question that this vision is very likely about, and that he recovers himself, and is restored to teaching proper doctrine and no longer seeks to glorify himself instead of Christ alone.

You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.
“This is the dream. Now we will tell the interpretation of it before the king. Daniel 2:34-36

And by the way, sister, the image you saw in all likelihood represented a Buddha, and achieving personal Nirvana, a state of enlightenment attained through the cessation of attachment and desire which leads to the extinction of the self. In Christianity, the self is never annihilated. It simply conforms itself to Christ out of love for Him, hoping to please Him. But the self never ceases to exist, or it would simply enter into some form of "universal consciousness" and disappear, and that's not Christianity, it's Buddhism.

And by the way, it's quite common for Buddhas to be depicted as blue.
