The image is of course a spartan warrior from the 300 movie, but that doesn't make the moral of the picture. I like to look at it more of a faithful soldier fighting the wickedness of the world. I touched it up a bit and wrote the words myself.

Xerxes ( Ahasuerus King of Persia 485 -465 BC ) the husband of Esther is in 300 I think. He showed favour to Israel because of Esther.

Thanks guys :) Sometimes when I start to get pushed down by the world I like to look at that image. Its a good motivator for me. I think that a lot of people see the Christian life and people as weak or a bunch of wimps who couldn't take a punch from a fly. That can't be more far from the truth. Jesus was no wimp. He was a mans man, who took beatings and whips and suffered through much physical and mental pain. As followers of a man like that we must be ready and militant to do the same for him. True Christians are no wimps. We are conditioned by the trials we face and have the mighty strength of God by our sides. It takes a mans man to stand up against the world for what he believes in. In my opinion, its the ones who reject Christ that are the real wimps. I hope this image will reach out to someone and let them know that being a real man is being a soldier for God.
