Throughout every realm of Christianity there is the same message; “Christ lived in the flesh, ‘died’ on The Cross and rose from the tome on the third day, after 40 days walking with and teaching his disciples he ascended into Heaven to sit on the throne at the right hand of The Father. Because He lived and died to forgive our sins and to show us The True Way to Live and we Obey is every word.”
Every “sect” of "Christianity" practices in their own way and have their own idea about who what when where and how, while all generally giving the same message. After reading scripture and coming to know The Lord I can see that what is talked about in scripture is cleverly avoided in the “churches” of this world. I am called by The Lord live life how it is written in scripture from the examples of all the prophets and Yeshua. This has lead me to my own individual practice according to scripture, with a strong desire to please YHWH Yeshua by being LOVE in SPIRIT not to abide by the word of man. This practice comes from the understanding of Yeshua’s teachings along with, looking at who all the prophets are and who the people of God are.
Let’s look at the main philosophy of Yeshua’s teaching in three levels. The three levels are our connection to Yah directly, our connection to others and our connection to ourselves. Yeshua gives us two main commandments to understand and follow and some clarification;
“Love you God with all your mind heart, Body, soul, spirit, and strength” and “love your neighbor as I have loved you” “for if you loved me you would listen and obey”. These three quotes hold many valubal keys but yet these are just but a taste of the Glory of Yahweh and His almighty Love. They also give a basses of what it means to be a Je'di in the three levels. Focusing on understanding scripture and longing to love God and to be good to yourself and others is a main goal for every Je'di.

Could I ask what translation that is from? It doesn't sound familiar to me.... or are you just combining scriptures to come up with a sentence?

That's kind of what I thought, a conflated concoction, to invent a personal view.

it is not about me brother, and I cant tell you what YHWH Yeshua has taught me, for you may be a hand and I a foot but either way one Body. I should have understood your crafty question posed to stumble and prove against me before I replied, but either way I LOVE YOU ^-^ and that's what it is about. What you may be suggesting to me is to not be over my head with what I "know" but instead pay attention to my Spirit because you care about my soul and don't want to see me parrish. Thank you for being a guardian of faith=) I am a student just as you are. Thank you^-^

Mmmm, what? :lol

I guess I'll take a stab at the original question, what does it mean to be a jedi? Since there's no real Jedi philosophy on earth, usage of the word as people seem to use it suggests to me that jedi...means, adept. That you tried to tie it in with Gods love is misdirected. That jedi stuff is from a movie brother, and the scripture book is the real thing. Read the book. The books always better than the movie!

:study To be adept in ones calling is an admirable goal, but it's not necessary. :yes

Nah..... I TRY to love people who I think are just playing games here, but I can't honestly say I care all that much about, specifically, your soul.

My concern is more with the sincere people who might think you actually found something like that written in the Bible that way.

indeed I see your concern, but here's an other little thing I learned from YHWH, Pray for the sinners AND the saints, what good is to love your friend yet hate your brother you have accomplished nothing! No infact hating your brothers and sisters will only tare This Kingdom apart.. Search the Scriptures your selfs and look through what I have wrote, please inform me WHAT IS NOT in scripture and forgive me if I have lied. I will listen glady to any wisdom

Thank you for your answer brother. I am not a jedi. I am Je'di; Jesus' disciple just as we are called to be, sorry to offend you. I heed your advice friend thank you for the Love.

I would like to make it clear that I am a Disciple of YHWH Yeshua and NOONE else. Blessings! Live and let live.

Given that we're discussing a fictional movie warrior code...

When I encounter the term "jedi", I automatically insert the real Japanese warrior code Bushido ("the Way of the Warrior") that operated at the core of Samurai life. (George Lucas used samurai movies as inspiration for his Star Wars serials.) In answer to the question, what it means for the warrior is to always choose Death. If given the choice, the warrior chooses Death over Life. This comes directly from the Samurai "handbook", the Hagakure ("Hidden Amongst the Leaves"). The true warrior understands that Life and Death are the same thing.

So if my backround is samurai, what am I doing on a Chistian website? After all, Jesus is about Life, and conquering Death. Because as a warrior, I understand the concept of giri, meaning "obligation". Jesus saved my soul with His own death; thus I am forever indebted to Him. The word samurai literally means "one who serves". I serve a new Lord now; His name is Jesus.

Was this inspired by my post? It was not meant to be derogatory in any way. I actually understand and agree with the OP for the most part.

No KevinK. I sense that there is a little tension overall and don't want to see the discussion going south.

Well I hope it wasn't me. :) I wasn't offended and hope I didn't offend. Apparently I misunderstood Je'diBen. I thought he was perhaps being somewhat facetious and using colorful language and did not make the connection of Jesus's Disciple. Sorry if I misunderstood you brother. :)
