It can expound a formula, rightly ascertain all its dimensions, explain creation in a creative manner with their exponents, and estimate our current time as some zillion years and three days old. Uh, what is the weather to be tomorrow? Oh good grief. :screwloose2

So you are saying that because tomorrow's weather cannot be forecast with absolute certainty any statement about earth's past is false? Oh good grief.

Real science is believing in the One who created science.

Science is a method to understanding the world around us.

Of course not. There are many good explanations to explain earthly occurrences. :)

Life, or "real life" are terms that are much more open to personal interpretation. Yeah I believe what you say about real life is true. Science, however is a term that is rather clearly defined. So if you say science has anything to do with believing in God you are making a private and personal definition that only few will share and agree with. But it's not what is commonly understood to be the meaning of the word "science". However, for words to be usefull in communication you must have the same definition of the term or else your communication will fail. So your re-definition of science is useless.

Is God science?
If God created everything, then God is behind any type of science that attempts to uncover the truth about the universe, people, or whatever else.
From this view, science actually, in pursuit of truth, would be finding God.
But people tend to see it as the opposite. Nathan Heflick

It is probably because many religions were in place to explain why things are how they are and why things do what they do. The sciences were formed to be systems to observe, record, and create models based on what we found out about our world.

A lot of times what we find doesn't match up with what we thought it all meant with religions. I'm not surprised when many religions get mad that science doesn't always report back what they already expect.
