Salvation is a religious concept that refers to the deliverance of the soul from sin and its consequences. It is also the state of being saved or protected from harm or danger. Salvation is based on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and is a gift of grace through faith. Salvation is the goal of the conversion process and the hope of the whole creation.
