I'll tell you my strange encounter first. As most of you are already aware of by now I was just on vacation in Maryland a little while back. So one day we (my niece, mother, and I) were sitting outside and eating some ice cream when all of a sudden this man comes up to us (hardly knows any English) and puts these bracelets around our wrists. Which of course at first we thought that they were free. However, it turns out that my mother (I split the money) ended up having to spend about ten dollars on them! So, since they're really pretty she (and I) decided just to go with the flow on it. Besides, he was just trying to make money like the rest of us, we figured, what the heck?
