Can someone please tell me what this is? I was reading up on a thread in the new members forum, and a user mentioned that they didn't want to have a name that could be googled. It got me curious and so I googled my username. (Would you belive there are other's out there with my same name and username?). But anyway, I found this link that has one of my old posts from November, and the link takes you to some foreign site! That makes me kinda nervous, and I'm not sure I like it.... :ohmy

That does look kinda weird. It's not entirely impossible that someone is copying your post to another site or that there is another caromurp out on the web. Small creepy world sometimes.

Hmm, with that forum site, I wouldn't worry about it. No one's going to link you to it if they know your username. It may even be some weird translation and google isn't perfect. I wouldn't worry about that. It's weird and creepy but I don't think you need to be worried about it.

And really...don't worry about your username being able to be googled and linked here.

And with other caromurps out there...that's good. Makes you more anonymous.

funnily enough, i was surfing the net a few days ago, and i came across (if i remember correctly) an atheist site. This site actually visits forums etc looking for quotes from "fundies". It's safe to say that it would be against this sites ToS to post a link and i cannot remember its name, anyhow. They have a 'Top 100 stupid quotes' section and Heidi (a member of this forum) was on it. Not very pleasant
