Growth What's the Difference between Excuse and Execute?

Extremely Tenacious... that's the difference between the letters in excuse and execute (the e between the x and c and the t replaces the s). Just think about anybody who has achieved greatness and you'll have to agree... that person or team was extremely tenacious. Rather than letting an excuse stop them... they instead determined to execute no matter what the odds, circumstances, or fear. This is the point that the Apostle Paul was making in Philippians 4:10-13 when he said that he was content no matter the circumstances because he could accomplish anything with the strength of Christ.

"I am in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often. From the Jews five times I received forth stripes minus one. Three times beaten with rods, once I was stoned; three times shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep, in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils in of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren, in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, inf fastings often, in cold and nakedness--besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches. Who is weak and I am not Weak: Who is made to stumble, and I do not burn with indignation?" (2 Cor. 11:23-33) NKJ

Paul said this about himself. He went through all of this and yet he was content while in prison chained to a couple of guards.

What achievement have you had by not having an excuse to stop but through being extremely tenacious determined to execute to the finish?

Well, I learned from Joyce Meyer to set your mind and keep it set.
It means that you do what you plan to do and you don't change your mind.
You either do it or you don't!

I like that. She is a great inspiration to many. I know she has been in my life.
