Having spell check I type something two times in a row, and it shows the second entry as a misspelled word. Without noticing the previous word being the same I attempt to respell the indicated misspelled word repeatedly in frustration, and of course it can’t be done. Am I the only one having this problem?

“There are a great natural natural mysteries.”

perhaps this is what's happening >>>
WordPerfect, for example, catches duplicate words as part of a spell check function.

“There are a great natural, natural mysteries.”
Natural, natural
Natural natural, natural. natural natural
The comma seems to make the natural natural difference. (Unless the Spell Check just happens to like you.... it didn't flag this sentence.)

Oh I know the reason for the duplicate word being shown as an error, but it always catches me unaware and I continue attempting to correct the spelling until I finally give up and look for the problem. I back up one word and it's staring me right in the face. Is this the punishment of growing old? :)

Yes, I do it too. I often have to get up from my computer to do something and then come back and forget that I had already typed the word once.

Praise God brother, I do not walk in darkness alone, and I can pass to the other side one day knowing that God has not just given only me the gift of confusion; maybe computer illiterate is a better way of expressing it.
:thumbsup
