Yes - videos can come often across as very self-righteous, judgemental and narrow, and can have the effect of pushing people away.

Um, I've watched this video. Thing is, some Christians come at this from the point of view of, "I'm holy, and you're all sinners!" In inviting people to repent of their sins, should we not be sure that we're not guilty of the same or a similar sin ourselves? I know I'm very often not blameless.

Which is exactly the sort of attitude that can turn people away from the church, (including, at times, me!) And, actually, I didn't intend a discussion about homosexuality. It is a subject which seems to obsess many Christians.

Exactly. So it's a case of balancing that against some of the other Scriptures. Some people forget that.

I agree now! He's had a few jokes for sure, but I'm getting far more used to it. The church clapped and cheered him at a meeting last night (when they recognized him)! But I would have been happier if they hadn't influenced him quite so much.
