Hi FHG
I appreciate your responses.
I know you have an Exhaustive Strong's, look up giants, #5303 Hebrew.
It is Nephilim, from #5307, naphal, means to fall, cast down, die, lost, overthrow, perish, throw down......

I think, for myself, my opinion is still sons of God = Seth's line and Daughters of men = neanderthal. Their offspring = nephilim. I believe neanderthal were near human and existed simultaneously along side homo-sapiens. I believe in the biblical timeline for human existence and do not believe in evolution. There are caves in europe with prehistoric drawings showing hunts involving bison right along side dinosaurs and they're being vandalized.

I do believe God created all the races on the 6th day.
Gen.1:27 male and female created He them.
As in Gen.5:2
Male and female created He them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam. Mankind

Gen.2:5
There was not a man to till the ground, I believe He had hunters and so forth..
Then He placed the man Adam in the garden. This is whom the Christ seed would be born.

I agree with this as Nephilim are only giants born of a man and a women. I don't agree with how others teach that the sons of God being fallen angels came down and married the daughters of men and the result was producing Nephilim/giants.

I never said you believe in evolution and of course there were Bison and Dinosaurs that roamed the earth before and after the flood as Noah was instructed by God to take them into the ark two of every kind. Even the original dinosaurs that once roamed the earth that have gone extinct have genetically changed throughout the generations like alligators as their lineage came from Brachychampsa and the tuatara found in New Zealand are the lineage of Rhynchocephalia that are extinct.

Neanderthal is nothing more than a name man has given to those who lived before the flood as like the dinosaurs genetics change throughout the generations depending on the regions they live as none of us would look like Adam as genetics keep evolving.

I was merely responding to dianegcook's post. Looks like she edited it. She was asking if anyone had any final thoughts so I gave my final summation of my own thoughts. Why you are seemingly becoming defensive in your posts......dunno.

And I thought I had an imagination................just kidding :lol

I read it that God created the garden of Eden first and then created Adam and placed him in the garden to take care of it. God saw that Adam needed a help mate for he was all alone. I see that as being God's design from the beginning before the fall of man that Adam, Eve and all their children and every generation after them would take care of all God created the was beautiful throughout the whole world, but Adam blew it and he and his wife Eve were cast out on the east side of Eden and from there the generations started growing.

I'm not being defensive about anything and I'm sorry you are taking it that way. I'm just discussing like all of us are as you replied to her post #21 with your post #22 when it was directed at me so what makes it any different then me replying to a post you made that was directed at hers. :shrug

This is an opened forum to reply back to whoever post so please do not go there calling me defensive, because that is not my nature. dianegcook and I go way back and enjoy our discussions with each other even if we do not always agree, just like you and I disagree. I've learned things from her and she has learned things from me and this is what it is all about within the unity of all members of CF that we always walk in love.

How did kangaroos get to Australia - and only Australia - after the flood?

They migrated like every living thing that left the ark in the Mt Ararat region. Centuries of slow migration is what brought the animals to all seven continents today as they have evolved (not talking about evolution) from their original ancestors just like man.

A new genetic study suggest Marsupials began to migrate to Australia and New Zealand from North and South America in the late Cretaceous or early Tertiary period. The route of migration crossed Antarctica and into Australia.

Land masses have changed drastically after the flood waters receded as most of the land mass in what is now the seven continents were once joined together and made migration easy to accomplish.

That seems to be the conclusion in a thread somewhere else about kangaroos - land masses may not have been the same - they could have hopped from mountains of Ararat to Australia and New Zealand

When I edit something, it is to correct the spelling or to add something.
Sometimes when I save it the spell check, does whatever it wants sometimes.
You must have been thinking of another post somewhere, because I never said that.
But all is good, no big deal.

If it is true that God created all the races on the sixth day, and the name Adam was merely the name for mankind, that would utterly undo the fall of all mankind through the seed of Adam, thereby potentially, no sinners, and remove the need/plan of redemption through Christ. Adam is the federal head of all mankind. The first and only at creation. That is why Jesus is called the second Adam. Jesus is the federal head of all who believe. He is qualified for this by being son of man, like us, but born without the seed of Adam. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit. He lived a pure and sinless life, not giving in to temptation as Adam had done. Only He can save us.

The only law given at that time was, not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil., which Adam and Eve done. They were the only ones in the Garden.

Without law there is no sin.

Yes I know. What does that have to do with all races being created at once and what I said about it? :confused2
My own opinion is that the sons of God are of the Godly line (the red thread) from Adam to Jesus and that the Daughters of men are Neanderthals. DNA research has shown that most of us have neanderthal DNA to some degree. I believe at the time these sons of God did this, their DNA was pure and they lived for centuries. Mixing this "super DNA" with neanderthals probably produced super hunters in the short run but badly contaminated the DNA resulting in shorter lifespans and disease in the long run.
I have seen the ads that say they are able to trace our ancestry back to Neanderthal man if you give them a DNA sample. My question, and it is a serious one, is where did they get the Neanderthal DNA to trace it back to?

Many years ago I saw a video of Dr Baugh, who is a creation scientists, he is still around I think if anyone wants to check him out. What he had to say was fascinating. I think most of us agree that we were created to live forever. According to Baugh, the atmosphere we lived in was much different than it is today in order for this to be possible. We see from the Bible that even after the fall (when God could no longer allow us to live forever) people lived much longer, we didn't eat animals, they didn't eat us and they didn't eat each other. Baugh says that some of the things we take as figurative in the Bible may be literal, and claims to have established this scientifically. I'm not a scientist so I can't evaluate that but I don't think he is a quack.
For example, he says the morning stars really did sing together and we could hear them, in perfect harmony to musical notes we now know of, just sound, not voices. That the stars were various colors ( you can see that they really are through the Hubble telescope)and we could see that too because the atmosphere was different. We had much more oxygen. The claim is that after the fall of man God began to shift the perfection of the placement of all that He created in the universe, so that now the earth and all that is in it, is on a trajectory of entropy. The flood, (before the flood it never even rained, the dew watered the earth) caused a major catastrophic shift, and the longevity of man began to decrease. Thus, all of creation groans awaiting the fullness of our salvation. Not for when we are fully saved, we are that now, but for when we receive our full inheritance. We get it all back!!

Sorry for my brief response.
Adam in the Strong's Hebrew, #120, meaning, ruddy, a human being, (an individual or the species) mankind.
You have #121, meaning, Adam the name of the first man.
Then you have#119, meaning, to show blood in the face, flush or turn rosy, red, ruddy..
Then you have #127, soil, redness, country, earth, ground, husband /-man/, land..

Take your pick, lol...
The man Adam
Mankind Adam as I noted in Gen.5:2

Reminds me of the artifacts at the Creation Science Museum just outside Glen Rose, Texas. They have a tool there with metalurgical properties impossible in today's atmosphere, but only possible in a pre-flood atmospheric conditions.

That is Dr. Baugh, his organization. I may be spelling his name wrong.

The man Adam
Mankind Adam as I noted in Gen.5:2
Every word and name has a definition. That doesn't mean that (in the case of a name) that is what the thing so named IS. When the Bible speaks of Adam it is speaking about the PERSON named Adam. The first and only at that time, man God created. There were no other humans created at that time, other than Eve. They were given the command to populate the earth.
As for Strongs, we are not meant to "take our pick". or that all apply in all situations, as I've seen some people do. We are meant to discern which usage applies to the context. 121 in Strongs "the name of the first man".:)
