Exactly. Since Japan is way more serious about education than America is. Anyways, there's already been one death in Washington state. :sad Prayers going towards everybody affected by this and their friends and family members. :pray

It is critical that the Believer doesn’t allow the rules of the world to infiltrate the Kingdom of God in the name of being sensitive. We must be sensitive, but it must be compassion without compromise. In other words we don’t dumb down Gods standards (Faith placed and maintained exclusively in Christ and the Cross) just because it doesn’t makes sense to a unbeliever. Today we are living in a time of the dumbing down of God because of the dumbing down of the Church. Because the Church has reduce God in the Church, society has reduced Him in the world. God isn’t being presented properly in the culture, He has been excluded, therefore the result will be conflict and chaos. 2 Chronicles 15:3-6 says,:

“3 Now for a long season Israel has been without the true God, and without a teaching Priest (Pastors), and without Law (New Covenant Law = Romans 8:2 - Faith placed and maintained exclusively in Christ and His Finished Work at Calvary Cross where the victory was won).

4 But when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought Him, He was found of them (this Promise is clear; God will not forsake those who turn to Him and seek Him; the Scripture is emphatic: “He was found of them”).

5 And in those times there was no peace to him who went out, nor to him who came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries.

6 And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity (even though they were His chosen people, called of Him and loved of Him, still, when they turned their backs on Him, spiritually speaking, He would “vex them with all adversity”; God desires to bless us, but, if we desire to oppose Him, He will, instead, “vex us,” and He does it in order to bring us to our spiritual senses).

7 Be you strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded (the admonishment by the Holy Spirit was then and now, “Be strong” [I Cor. 16:13; Eph. 6:10; II Tim. 2:1]).” In other words, don't change your testimony from which we only overcome; The Blood of the Lamb (the Cross) Rev. 12:11

Trump apparently shredded (eliminated?) the CDC pandemic unit, so...this is going to be awesome.

This may, perhaps, make me sound like a conspiracy theorist or some paranoid individual, but...I'm kind of concerned about personal freedoms, in the US and worldwide. Maybe I'm being too sensitive (LOL), but the heavy use quarantine and such...seems like something that could be be misused and misapplied, quite easily. hopefully just a fleeting worry, no big deal...

in other news, some people are stocking up as if the Apocalypse was nigh. I don't know what to make of it, honestly. Seems that the flu is more of a threat, but this is yet another "security risk" in a socially and politically disintegrating world, so...

I've heard that the CV is more contagious but the mortality rate is lower than for the flu.

I just hope it didn't come out of some lab in China....I do worry about this. Man fools around with too much stuff that is dangerous...bacteria and virus is one of them.

Seem like the mortality rate is under 2%.
I also wonder if we all know the same information and news around the world...

WHO says corona is dangerous. Mostly for the elderly and young children though. Healthy people from 10 to 60 will generally be okay. Anyone with young children at home should be taking precautions. The elderly should be taking super precautions.

Pray for young children and elderly saints if this thing moves into general population before a treatment is developed.
 
Actually...
Corona Viruses are not as contagious as flu but several times more deadly. Very few people die from the flu...but a higher percentage of people are dying from Corona.

Corona has a longer incubation period than flu...not good either.
But it's harder to catch...and they believe that they will have the test trials completed next month to know what antivirals to use to combat it.

18% among the elderly. Children in general seem to be safe from it, but I still don't think people should risk newborn infants around it. At least until more is known.

I think that the major reasons why the elderly and children and infants get sick the most is because the elderly start developing more diseases when they get older, and children and infants don't have a very strong immune system yet.

I noticed some serie A football games got cancelled last weekend because of the coronavirus. It must be bad for the Italians to cancel football matches
 
Why does the media love to dramatise?. No one even knows. Why say this to people. It could be none it could be millions who knows, I could get struck by lightning tonight who knows.

I like facts not negative predictions. Why does it always have to be negative when it could easy go the other way, a cure could come out soon, it might be contained, who knows. For every negative outlook there is also a positive outlook. Why not just be positive.

Last I head was about 1,000---but that was yesterday and it increases every day. Mostly up in the NorthEast part of Italy, with scattered cases in about 5 or 6 regions.

The latest is that the central govt in Rome might decide to close all schools in all of Italy...to be announced this evening.

I think containment is our only hope since it's so contagious.
