Scripture Of The Day - Transitioning Into The New

"Do not earnestly remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." - Isaiah 43:18-19

The Lord is taking us higher and into new places. Those new places are places of birthing, are places of reaping and are places of fulfillment. But the "way" He is leading us is the new and the way He performs His Word usually is not on our "grid, plan, format or way" of how we envisioned it would look like.

The Word says in Luke 5:36, "No one puts a patch from a new garment on an old garment; if he does, he will both tear the new one, and the patch from the new one will not match the old garment."

Transitioning into the new can be stretching, because we have never been there before. We have no grid for it. And what we tend to do is create a map and a plan. There is no map and plan for the new. You have to flow and be led by the Spirit.

The ways of the Spirit will offend the mind of carnal reasoning.
The mind of the Spirit will challenge the ways and formats of man, because they put limits and conditions on God.

There is just as much death in yielding to His way as there is in yielding to His will.
Unclog the flow by letting Him lead you in new fresh ways and take you higher in His purpose for your life to partner with Him on this earth.

When we put all our agendas aside the sky is the limit for what God can do in our lives.
Matthew 5:8 says, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."

Scripture Of The Day - Finding Hope In The Negative

Micah 2:13 AMP - "The breaker [the Messiah, who opens the way] shall go up before them [liberating them]. They will break out, pass through the gate and go out; so their King goes on before them, the Lord at their head."

The Lord is going before you right now with new power to break things open for you -- the key to this is to keep moving forward and don't stop or look back. It is important to keep your eyes on the Lord and not the waves or the voices of discouragement.

There is an angry wind trying to get you distracted from the coming breakthrough. The Lord is taking what is intended for evil and any setbacks in your life and bringing a blessing and turnaround.

Negative situations will have a good outcome as you keep your focus and trust in God. As you pray and ask God for repayment of your losses and attacks against you, you are filing a claim in the courts of Heaven.

Scripture Of The Day - Allowing A Habitation Of The Holy Spirit

Revelation 4:1 - "After this, I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, "Come up here, and I will show you..."

There is a constant and continual (unbroken) communion that we have been invited into. There is ascending and descending (John 1:51) always happening as we dwell with Him and allow a habitation of His Holy Spirit to be a river of life that flows to us and through us.

The indwelling of God with us is our unspeakable joy! One moment we find ourselves at His feet in humble adoration and the next we are gazing into His eyes with an awe that causes everything to stand still.

The place of habitation with God is never boring but always wondrous. It is a holy place of great power and authority and a humble place of comfort and rest.

Scripture Of The Day - Called To A Higher Place

2 Corinthians 13:14, "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen."

God calls us to a higher place in His Spirit where we can walk with Him and be conduits of His glory in the earth. He is not looking for perfect vessels but ones that are surrendered, filled with His Spirit, and will follow Him where He leads.

God is always wanting to pour more of His Spirit and presence into us. One of the most important things we can learn is "how to receive from God." If we don't learn how to receive then we have nothing to give. It is out of His fullness that we've received and continue to receive out of genuine communion with Him.

If you desire to pour into someone's life you must first allow God to pour into you.

Scripture Of The Day - Alive And Full Of Power

John 6:63 - "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life."

The Word of God and its power to heal your body is more than just good information. It actually has LIFE in it! Jesus said so in John 6:63. That's because the Word is like a seed. Hebrews 4:12 (Amp) says it is "alive and full of power -- making it active, operative, energizing and effective..."

It actually carries within it the power to fulfill itself. When you planted the Word about the new birth in your heart, then believed and acted on it, that Word released within you the power to be born again.

By the same token, when you plant the Word about healing in your heart, believe and act on it, that Word will release God's healing power in you. Speak its life-giving force aloud over your body in faith...and receive your healing! Receive His LIFE!

Scripture of The Day - CLING TO HIS SPIRIT

"And raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus;" - Ephesians 2:6

Many are living as if He has not risen, and they are tarrying in the garden, in the tomb. For have they not yet heard the good news? He is seated in Heavenly places interceding for His own, He Has sent His Spirit to empower them.

He is sending His Spirit so that you would be sent out with power that would be fresh from on high, for He is about to bring down the old works of man. You will hear of crumble, after crumble, after crumble, for man is reaching from soul to soul. But His Spirit draws from spirit to Spirit.

Cling to His Spirit, and let His Spirit cling to you. For in this you will find the fullness of joy. You will come to know who you were called to be and why you are here. For His Spirit is wooing you into a new assignment in connection with your calling in Christ.

Scripture Of The Day - Crucified To The World

Galatians 6:14 - "May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world."

Many Christians today agree that they ought not to commit the sins of which the world approves. Yet they choose to remain on friendly terms with the world, and feel at liberty to enjoy its pleasures as long as they refrain from committing open sin.

They do not realize the most dangerous source of sin is the LOVE OF THE WORLD with its lusts and pleasures. The scripture says that the world has been crucified to us, and we to the world. Paul knew that when the world crucified Christ, he himself had been nailed to the cross with Him. He boasts that he now lives as one crucified to the world, and that the world, as an impotent enemy, was now crucified to him.

When the world crucified Christ, it crucified you with Him. However, when Christ overcame the world on the cross, He made you a conqueror too.

Scripture Of The Day - The More Of God Calls You

Isaiah 43:18-19 - "Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."

God clearly warns us not to look to what was, but to fix our eyes on what is. He is about to do a new thing within our lives. Moving in a new direction can be difficult and resistant. It is easy to want to remain where we are because it's familiar, secure and comfortable to us.

However, we must realize that there is always MORE with God. The MORE of God calls you to go where you have never traveled before. The MORE of God stretches you in ways you never thought possible. The MORE of God compels you to discover and fulfill His purpose for your life.

The MORE of God calls you to learn and operate in your inheritance in Christ and understand your right standing with God. The MORE of God ignites a fire within you to become unstoppable for Him.

Scripture Of The Day - Abide In Him

John 15:5 - “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."

When we stay fresh in the Spirit of the Lord, we also will grow in our relationship with the Lord. The place of abiding is the place of union we find in John 15:5.

The scripture says we will be fruitful for His glory out of the substance of the supply of His unfailing anointing. His presence is also a place of genuine hunger for the Word of God, hunger for fresh bread from the Word every day.

In His presence, the Word comes alive, and mysteries are revealed as the Word becomes like fire in our bones. Within us arises a holy boldness to decree the Word of God in order to shift the unseen realm and break down every barrier of the enemy with the power of the Word.

Scripture Of The Day - Speaking The Life Of God

James 1:21, "...The Word of Life has power to continually deliver us."

This coming year will be a year of life and that you'll catch the momentum of speaking it over people and circumstances! Not only will your words stop death, but your words will cause others to go on into abundance.

Our words must be filled with life! The people and things that you speak life over this coming year will live again! Life will spring up in places that were once dead, or at least you thought were dead and hopeless. For life will begin to manifest everywhere you declare it! The redemption of God is going to begin to shine through in seemingly hopeless situations.

It all began at the Cross! What looked like a hopeless situation brought life to all who would believe. So don't give up. It's time to look through life-colored glasses -- proclaim a thing and watch it manifest!

Job 22:28, "You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways."

Scripture Of The Day - RULING IN THE MIDST OF MY ENEMIES

"Rule in the midst of your enemies" - Psalm 110:2

The Lord has provided us with powerful tools to accomplish our assignment and legislate the heavens with the ability to call forth what is not as though it were. He has given us:

the power of the Blood,

the power of His name,

the power of His Word,

the power of decree,

the power of the Holy Spirit to bring it to pass, and

angel armies assigned to God's Kingdom purposes!

He has given us everything needed to rule and reign, to take and to hold ground!
Circumstances may seem to be holding you back, or life situations and finances, but obedience to take your place in God's PURPOSE for your life unlocks your DESTINY and positions you for favor. It's a favor that opens the necessary doors for you to accomplish your assignment.

"Of the increase of His Government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this." - Isaiah 9:7

Choosing to set yourself firmly in the place where God has called you unlocks spiritual principles that result in increase. The best days of the Church are upon us and it's a time to embrace our divine destiny. God is good and He is faithful! Let us wake up and be successful in fulfilling all He has planned! This is the hour of the fulfillment of His promises of glory and light! The people of God are beginning to "arise and shine" for our light has come!

Scripture Of The Day - Great Faith And Boldness

Philippians 4:6 (the Passion Translation) says, "Don't be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude..."

We need to be prayerful people in this season and saturate ourselves in those things that God is wanting us to believe for. We need to get our eyes off of what we're going through and begin to praise the Lord -- using it as a weapon to change our situation and also as an avenue for breakthrough.

We need to get away from toxic people who rob us of our calling in Christ and start surrounding ourselves with people who love God like we want to love God -- people of great faith and boldness.

Scripture Of The Day - God's Time Zone

Romans 8:28 - "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."

Sometimes our lives are like this. We say, "Father, it's dark. I'm stuck. Where are You in my life?" We cannot see what He is doing. But in the meantime, our Father is operating in His time zone. He says, "I am moving." -- It's "Now O'Clock"! -- It's the local time of Heaven -- It's Kingdom time.

In the book of Revelation, "Jesus declares, 'I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,' says the Lord, 'who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty'" (Revelation 1:8). All at once, He dwells in the past, present and future. If you have been hurt during an extended time of waiting, receive a fresh touch from the Holy Spirit. He is at work setting your heart—your inner clock—to Kingdom time.

Regarding advancing His purpose for your life, hear Him say "See, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands: your walls are ever before me." (Isaiah 49:16)

Scripture Of The Day - GROWING UP INTO CHRIST

"But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ." - Ephesians 4:15

To those beginning their spiritual journey, God reveals Himself as Father. The picture is of a loving father embracing and reassuring his children. After knowing God as Father He goes on to reveal Himself as Warrior, "The LORD is a warrior..." (Exodus 15:3 NIV). The picture is of a warrior training recruits for battle. To those who know God as both Father and Warrior, He reveals Himself as Consuming Fire, "For our God is a consuming fire" (Hebrews 12:29).

God is "from the beginning," that is, He is eternal. He has no beginning and no end. The picture is of an all-consuming reality (Song of Songs 8:6). When we know Him as Father, we become secure in His love. When we know Him as Warrior, we become strong in His might. When we know Him as Consuming Fire, we become one with Him in wholehearted union.

QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF:
• Is God specifically revealing Himself to me as either Father, Warrior, or Consuming Fire?

• Is there anything in you that resists knowing God as Father, Warrior, or Consuming Fire?

• Are you growing in the knowledge of God or are you resisting the change He desires to bring in your life?

Scripture Of The Day - RIDING THE WIND OF ADVERSITY

"Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint." - Isaiah 40:31

Eagles love the storm. The eagle uses the storm's wind to lift it higher. Once it finds the wind of the storm, the eagles use the raging storm to lift him above the clouds. We can use the storms of life to rise to greater heights. Achievers relish challenges and use them profitably.

The Word and the Spirit are the wind beneath your wings. When you declare the Word over your life, you can ride the wind. When we wait upon the Lord, we can ride His wind, even in adversity.

What the enemy meant for your harm, He will turn around for your good as you stay prayerful, stay in His presence, seek His face and stand in the reality of who you are in Christ. Don't let the wicked one move you with the winds and hailstorms. Ride the wind of adversity and use the storm to your advantage. Rejoice in the tribulation knowing that your character will become more Christ-like as you press into the work of the Cross.

Scripture Of The Day - Glorifying God

John 16:33 - "These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world."

We should be glorifying God by the miraculously victorious lives we live. People should be coming up to us saying things like, "I've heard how God healed you." Or, "I've heard how your children were delivered from drugs." Or. "God has really brought you out of a financial crisis."

So put the Word of God to work and dare to receive the blessings He has promised to you. Let the light of God's power in your life put you in the forefront of advancing His Kingdom.

Scripture Of The Day - Decree A Thing

Luke 6:45 - "For out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks"

Something powerful happens when the goodness of God overflows out of our hearts. We begin to decree and take authority in the Spirit realm! It's time to release the decree.

It's time that we begin to speak and see the blessings of God overflow around us. Let it be in our hearts this day, that we would be so bold to declare: "On Earth as it is in Heaven!" The apostle Peter said, "If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God" (1 Peter 4:11). The word "oracle" when translated in Greek means "an utterance of God." When we begin to release the decree, we suddenly become the mouthpiece of God! When we agree with Heaven, and align with Heaven in our speech, our voice becomes intertwined with the Lord's voice. When we speak under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and with authority, suddenly change and breakthrough are released!

Scripture says to decree a thing, and it shall be established (Job 22:28). When you speak and release a decree, your words carry power, and it establishes something in the spirit realm!

What will you decree to happen in your life in 2020?

What will you dare to believe God for?

What will you dare to believe God for?
I dare to believe my book will be published in time for next Christmas 2020. I dare to declare it will bless those who read it. I dare to declare it will honor my King. I dare to declare this will provide me a path to an income ending my time on disability. I dare to believe the Lord has seen fit in His fullness of time to bring me out of the wilderness of unforgiveness and grant me a place in the Body of Christ. Amen

Scripture Of The Day - Interceding With Expectancy

Revelation 8:1 - "When the Lamb broke the seventh seal on the scroll, there was silence throughout heaven for about half an hour."

Before the first angel sounded the trumpet, there was a half-hour of silence in heaven for the prayers of the saints to be laid before God.

We, also, have the need for silence and separation to bring our prayers before God and be strengthened for our daily work. We believe that as we begin and are faithful to bow in silence and expectancy before Him, God will reveal Himself to us.

You could begin by reading a portion of scripture (eg. praying some psalm verses back to God). then begin to intercede for your own household and children, the people that you minister to, your church and schools, and missions. Above all, meet with God.

Scripture Of The Day - WALKING WITH DIVINE PURPOSE

Paul, in Ephesians 5:15-17, offers the Church a most severe warning: "Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil. Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is" (AMP).

It is imperative that we all take a strong stand. We must make up our minds to not continue to stumble about in the confusion that seems to gridlock today's culture. Rather, we must walk with God-given goals and aims and discerning His divine PURPOSE for our life.

We're not to be vague, thoughtless, and distracted during these days. We can and must discover great guidance and guidelines for living day by day, advancing in the knowledge of His CALLING on our life, possessing the wisdom that God is offering to us.
