Scripture Of The Day - Made in His Likeness

Genesis 1:27 - "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them."

When God made you in His likeness, He did not make you to look like Him. He made you to function like Him. That's what likeness literally means. When God created you, He made you to operate like Him.

If you are not functioning like God, you are "malfunctioning" because God wired and designed you to function like Him. How does God function? "Without faith it is impossible to please God" - Hebrews 11:6. God functions by faith.

We were designed to operate by faith. God sees in you the potential to dominate, rule and subdue the whole earth. "Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over...all the earth..." - Genesis 1:26. Thus, if the earth in any way is dominating you, you are malfunctioning.

Scripture Of The Day - Giving Ourselves To Him

Psalm 73:25 - "Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you."

In the Old Testament Abraham, Moses Elijah, and David. gave themselves wholly to God, without reservation, so that He could accomplish His plans through them. Should we not, therefore, declare that there is nothing on earth or in heaven that means more to us than He?

As fully as God gives Himself to us, so fully does He desire that we give ourselves to Him. Without an appropriate surrender on our part, He cannot manifest His power.

Entirely connected to God! What a privilege that is. How wonderful the grace that calls us to it! How blessed the separation from the worldly, and work, and all that might draw us away from God. Ask Him to establish in you that which pleases Him.

Scripture Of The Day - Manifesting the Holy Spirit

Acts 13:52 - "And the disciples were continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit."

What is our attitude regarding allowing the Holy Spirit to manifest His life and power through us? Are we thirsty? Are we longing? Are we willing to pay the price?

Are we willing to forfeit in order to have? Are we willing to allow ourselves to die so that He may live? Are we willing for Him to have the right-of-way in our heart, our conscience, and all we are?

Are we ready to have God's deluge of blessing upon our soul? Are we ready to be changed forever, to receive the Holy Spirit, to be filled with divine power forever?

Scripture Of The Day - Walking In Our True Identity

John 14:30 - ".......for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me."

Pauperhood is relegated to the children of a lesser god. It is the condition of slaves who have yet to discover their freedom on the other side of the river of baptism and find themselves still captured by the dark prince of torture and torment. He is the one who assigns them to a life of poverty, pain, and depression through a diabolical play of illusion. He hopes to conceal their true identity forever.

This evil prince feeds his captives the poisonous rations of religion, convincing them they will fill their soul's hunger for righteousness. These slaves, blindfolded by their sin, think that they are laboring for their own freedom and work to pave their way out of prison with bricks built from the miry clay of self-righteousness. Yet, unknowingly, brick by brick, they are erecting their own chambers of death. Worse yet, they birth children into the same darkness, ultimately creating legacies of bondage with mind-sets of hopelessness.

Scripture Of The Day - Embracing The Anointing

1 John 2:27 - "As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you,"

According to the scriptures, before you were born again, you were without the Anointed One (Jesus). If you were without the Anointed One you were also without the anointing.

But now, since you are one with Christ, you are in the anointing of Jesus. The anointing is available to you in every situation you face to destroy every yoke of bondage. The anointing of God is God on flesh doing those things only God can do.

So, whatever you are facing today, begin factoring in the anointing in your life. If a yoke is holding you back, then rejoice, because the anointing will destroy it!

Scripture Of The Day - Walking In Our Destiny In Christ

2 Corinthians 5:17 - "All things have become new."

1 Corinthians 3:23 - "you are Christ's and Christ is God's."

God means for us to walk in this royal way. Jesus left us the responsibility of allowing Him to bring forth through us the greater works (John 14:12). If we do not step into God's purpose for our life, it is a tragedy.

God is waiting for us to act. Jesus lived a life of perfect activity. There is no standing still. "As He is, so are we in this world." (1 John 4:17). We must dare to press on until God comes forth in mighty power -- press on until Jesus is glorified.

Scripture Of The Day - Holding Fast To Our Profession

"Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;" - Hebrews 10:23

There is supernatural power released in the Word of God through declaration.
Jesus said (Mark 11:23) in the letter to the Hebrews (Hebrews 10:23) that we are encouraged to hold fast our confession. Once we have released our faith in the command of faith or the prayer of faith, we must continue to believe God is working regardless of any visible change.

As the Spirit unveils to us our participation in Christ, that ability is imparted to us.

"Seeing that it will not be impossible with God to fulfill His every declaration." - Luke 1:37

To translate this verse even more literally: No "Rhema" from God shall be void of "dunamis." In other words, when God speaks, His Word carries supernatural power. When we affirm out loud and meditate on the Word concerning our authority, the Holy Spirit writes His laws on the tablets of our hearts. As we endure as good soldiers, we hold fast to the Word until it is manifested in the seen realm. The Words of Jesus, which were given to Him by His Father, upholds all things.

"And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power." - Hebrews 1:3

Scripture Of The Day - Spiritual Adultery

James 4:4 -- "You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God."

When you fall out of love with God you have to find movies, you have to find sports, you have to find other worldly things.

James calls it spiritual adultery to sleep with these things all week because there is no true intimacy with the Holy Spirit.

The very point of the gospel is that you are not living anymore. It's not just saying a prayer -- it's dying. The stone was moved for the Church to come in and die.

Scripture Of The Day - God Working Within Your Spirit

Proverbs 3:5 - "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."

Your self-nature is overactive, impulsive, and always striving for something just outside your reach. If you give up all those things that provoke your curiosity and set your mind spinning, you will have more than enough time to spend with God.

God, working within your spirit, produces a calm and faithful heart that the world cannot touch.

Pray within yourself all day long. Live in prayer -- let it touch everything that you do. Be aware of God's presence within you -- even when you are busy. The important thing is not to listen to yourself, but silently listen to God. Talk little and do much, without caring to be seen. Do this and peace will be yours.

Colossians 3:2 - “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things”

Scripture Of The Day - Speaking Seeds Of Faith

James 3:17 - "But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy."

As we speak the tender mercies of the Word over a problem, our faith begins to rise up within us. We then release words of faith and plant seeds of power. These seeds then begin to grow up and become greater than the problems.

They begin to bear fruit -- fruit of deliverance, healing, miracles, love, joy, and peace. Souls are drawn into the Kingdom as Jesus is lifted up by the words of our mouth.

James 3:17 says that the Word is without hypocrisy. That means when we call things that be not as though they were, we're not lying or being hypocrites. We are not speaking lies or deceptions. We are speaking seeds of faith -- the seeds that start the process of God's operations in our lives will change our entire surroundings.

Scripture Of The Day - Desire To Attain

Philippians 3:16 - "I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."

Paul spoke about the desire to attain. There is no standing still. We are renewed by the Spirit. We never get into a new place until we come out of the old one (Genesis 12:1-4).

We must see revelation of God's purpose for our life and learn about who we are in Christ and our right standing with God. We can never be satisfied to stay where we are spiritually, for the truth continues to enlighten us.

We must move on, or we will perish. We must be obedient to the Holy Spirit who guides us.

Scripture Of The Day - Turning Away From Self Punishment

Hebrews 4:16 - "So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most."

When we sin, we don't need to punish ourselves, because Jesus already took our punishment and He now offers us His mercy. He is extending his mercy to you right now, but you must believe it and receive it in order for it to benefit you.

Don't turn away because you know you don't deserve it. Receive it and let it make you fall more in love with Jesus than ever before. Our sin will never exceed God's mercy because where sin abounds, grace abounds much more (Romans 5:20).

Affirmation:
Christ and I are one. I can never be separated from Christ, from whom comes all my supply -- all the power, wisdom, prosperity and health. As He is so am I in this world!

Scripture of The Day - Walking In Faith

Romans 8:31,32 - "If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?"

When walking in God's purpose for your life you've got to take a few chances. It is a temptation to wait and wait until you are absolutely sure of everything before you make a move.

If you've prayed and prayed and gathered the information needed, you're going to have to jump and go for what you feel called to do.

You will find that even when your decision was not the best, God can still use the situation to bless and propel you toward your Destiny in Christ.

You will find that even when your decision was not the best, God can still use the situation to bless and propel you toward your Destiny in Christ.
The problem is knowing if the jump is God's will or simply your own. Sometimes it is just a simple leap of faith jumping into our Father's arms.

Scripture Of The Day - Expecting More

Isaiah 54:2 - “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your ropes and strengthen your stakes."

When you don't think there is more to where you currently are in God's purpose for your life, you become limited. You think this right here -- all I see -- is it. This type of thinking keeps you from exploring and discovering. It keeps you from stretching yourself and dreaming about other possibilities.

If you want to meet God's calling in Christ on your life, you're going to have to believe there is more than what meets the eyes. You begin to choose to live like there is more by expecting more and praying for more wisdom and revelation (Ephesians 1:17,18).

Kingdom destiny followers know that more is beyond, and they commit to scaling barriers or other walls put up by their minds -- or by others.

Scripture Of The Day - Christ In You

Colossians 1:27 - "To them, God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."

The mystery is that Christ is in you. That is your hope of glory. This suggests, then, that our task is not to get Christ into us, but out of us. What God sees when He looks at you is Christ.

Jesus came to show us what Christ looks like when He takes on human form. But it is Christ that God's looking at. God sees Christ in you. That's the hope of glory -- Christ in you.

Christ is the image of God. The word image means "the essence of the being". Christ is the image of God. That means when God created you. He created you in His image, and His image is Christ. That's why the Bible never calls us the Body of Jesus. Jesus was the human manifestation of the heavenly Christ. We humans on earth, with all our fallibilities and weaknesses -- God pronounces on us: "You are the Body of Christ." In other words, Christ is in us somewhere.

When we want to meet Christ God will show us the Church. But we can't accept this because we think that Christ is in Heaven. No, He isn't. Jesus is in Heaven. Christ is sitting in your clothes, living in the body of the believer. Christ is the essence of God -- He's God Himself. God intended for you to be created in His image. Although you may say, "I want to be like Jesus," God says, "There's something deeper." You were lost and Jesus came to bring you back. God sent Jesus so you could see yourself.

Scripture Of The Day - Nothing Is Impossible

Romans 10:17, it says, "So then faith comes by hearing and hearing, by the Word of God."

Christ gave us the gift of faith when we received Him. We must hear the Word of God. The best way to hear it is to say it out loud as we go throughout the day. Also, meditate on it and visualize ourselves in the Word. It is Christ's faith in us, not our own faith, that we take up and use.

"In Christ lives all the fullness of God" (Colossians 2:9) "and in Christ you have been brought to fullness" Colossians 2:10) "as the Father has sent Me, I also send you" (John 20:21). Because Jesus has already overcome the world, His victory is our victory. Therefore, there is nothing impossible for the Believer.

Ephesians 6:16 - "ABOVE ALL, TAKE THE SHIELD OF FAITH."
