Yes, at the present time the Church is the Temple on earth. God dwelling in us.

This is why, I believe, it is important for the Church to be raptured out of the earth before the Tribulation and the rebuilding of the Temple.

Of course God is not limited by place to any building. But yet it is He who gave to Moses the drawings of the Tabernacle and told him to build it just like the drawings said. (Ex. 25:8-9) (Ex. 25:40) (Ex. 29:43) (Ex. 39:43) And it is He who gave to David the drawings of the Temple and David would tell Solomon to build it just like the drawings said. (1 Chron. 28:3-6) (1 Chron. 28:11-12) (1 Chron. 28:19)

And, it is God who chose the very place for the Temple to be built, the threshing floor of Ornan. (1 Chron. 21:16-30) (2 Chron. 3:1-2) And this was, I believe, the very spot where Abraham offered up Isaac. (Gen. 22:2,14)

So, yes, God is God and the universe cannot contain Him. But when He sets His attention on a place, on a building, then we would do well to recognize it's importance.

Yes, God gave instruction for the first two Temples and where it needed to be built as we can agree with that, but where is God's instruction of building a third one on the same place as the other two? Why did He allow the second Temple to be destroyed in 70AD as Jesus foretold it's destruction in Matthew 24:1-2.

After the seven trumpets of God's great wrath being poured out into the world, then immediately after that Christ returns on the last day as then He sends the angels out to the four corners of the world to gather us up to Him, those who sleep in the grave and those alive at His coming, Matthew 24:29-31.

Absolutely. And if you draw a line directly across from the Golden Gate, you will see the Dome of the Rock is just south of that line. The Third Temple can be built right beside it........minus the outer court.....under foot of the Gentiles. The platform has room to hold both the Dome of the Rock and the Third Temple. Of course the Third Temple not being the Messianic Temple (4th and final Temple).
Where is the 4th temple spoken of??

God gave instruction for the Tabernacle and Temple of Solomon. But for the second Temple by Ezra, no exact instructions were given. And this would have been the Temple that Herod would have improved on. Point being, Christ called it His house though no exact instructions were given.

That Temple was destroyed as the Temple of Solomon was destroyed...for rejecting their God.

At least this part we can agree on.

The cornerstone for the new Temple was brought to Jerusalem on May 21, 2009 and still remains on the street. "Jerusalem Day" in 1967 was to celebrate the liberation of the Temple Mount, but there is a problem there as the Dome of the Rock sits on the Temple Mount. Baruch Ben-Yosel , chairman of the Movement to Restore the Temple, made it clear that the Temple had to be built in the exact spot where the Dome of the Rock sits.

The Quran commands Muslims to fight non-Muslims until they exterminate all other religions and Islam would be the only religion in the world - the ultimate goal of Islamicism.

"And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah) and (all and every kind of) worship is for Allah (alone). But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against As-Zatimun (the polytheists and wrong doers)." (Surat Al-Baqarah 2:193)

This verse is mentioned also in Surat Al-Anfal 8:39. Because of the misunderstanding and ignorance of Christianity, Muslims believe that Christians are polytheists, because they believe in a Triune God. Fundamentalists look at Jews and Christians and all non-Muslims as infidels who must be killed because they have no value as human beings and must be exterminated from the face of the earth.

Fundamentalists divide the world into two camps, Dar Al-Harb (Camp of war) where Jews and Christians exist, and Dar Al-Sallam (Camp of peace) where Muslims live. They believe that Holy war against those who live in the camp of war should continue until they are exterminated.

Here is my question, with the Muslims hating Jews and Christians, wanting to annihilate all of them according to the Quran do you really think they are just going to hand over the Dome of the Rock back to the Jews so they can tear it down and build a Temple there?

Well, no, of course the Muslims are not going to give up the Dome of the Rock. I have said that repeatedly. But it doesn't matter what the Muslims don't want to do. God is going to remove that Dome and the whole Muslim purpose on that Mount. I don't know how, but He will.

Perhaps war. Perhaps earthquake. Who knows. But the Dome of the Rock is in the way and it will go.

What would the purpose of a third temple even be for as Christ has already fulfilled that of the Temple and its sacrifices. What about the lost Ark of the covenant that would have to be in the temple. No one knows what ever happened to it from the time the second Temple was destroyed. There is a replica in Ethiopia, but the original would have to be in the Temple. Those Jews who have rejected Christ and had Him killed, as even today they still reject Christ waiting for Messiah to come, do you think God is going to honor as such in a newly built Temple?

Sorry, but I don't see it happening as why didn't they build a new Temple after 70AD as the land laid in waste until 685AD when the Muslims took it over and built their shrine.

You may as well ask what would be the purpose of the Millennial Temple since Christ fulfilled that which the Temple pointed to? The Third Temple has purpose because it is in the heart of the Jews to have a Temple to worship God. And they know the place and they know God wants them to have one. But, they are at present blinded to God. And the third Temple will reflect their blindness with the anti-christ allowing it to be built and then setting up his image in it.

God doesn't need to honor the Third Temple. Whether He honors it or not doesn't take away from the fact that it will be built. And it will be destroyed during all the upheavals going on during the Tribulation. Making way for the Millennial Temple to be built.

The Jews prior to 1967 were in no position to rebuild any Temple to God. And it is my opinion that God has used the Muslims to protect that site not only from commercialism building on top of it, but from the Jews building it before He is ready. But, make no mistake, when He is ready, the Dome is falling.

Where in scripture does it say anything about any Millennium Temple to be built?
