I have to train a new meter reader on the route called greenway-club dr. I want to make the time limit of 2 at the latest but also show him what we do and how we do it.
 
Prayers for the training & the new guy are underway, my friend. Also praying for you, for it's not always easy to train a new guy.
 
Yes,prayers that he will learn the job with less stress.And prayers for the teacher.For patience. :)
 
and don't panic the trainee by fixing your stare at some tall weeds by a meter and ask worrirdly: "Do you see that?"

lol. the third day of my training I had to learn to toss snakes out of the water meters. I would and I have been told, time management. take the machine and finish the route for today. he wont learn it all in one day. it takes a month of being worked with them alone for then 5 more months to learn it.
 
finished route earlier then I have ever done the route. when I first did this route I couldn't finish it , then when I read it the next time I missed twenty meters and the machine broke. the third time I missed one and finally after the fourth time I got it done completely by 2 ish . then last month it was done by 12:30 and today, 11:54. if I didn't have the trainee I could have pushed this route by11:30.i have never done this with this route. no misses. we walked the entire route , the truck broke down.

the school across from the golf course,which is no an abandoned construction site with a cul de sec road and utility connections is where at the south edge the truck wouldn't restart. they towed to the shop and I was brought a new truck and near the end of the eastern road where it hits the first cul de sac is where I parked that and finished the route there. we ended. which is fully seen in this image.

it ends at the road to the south of the restaurant which we read both sides. the newbie was able to at least walk at my pace which is good.
 
Wonderful news about the shortened time to do the route, Jason!

Even the news about the truck not starting had a bright note to it with the replacement truck.

That's quite a route, by the way.
 
you all remember when I had you all pray about marbrisa? here is that route. all but that funny looking road that looks like the markings on a violin I do. View attachment 4049 but that aint all.View attachment 4050 this side I don't cross the eastern road and I also do those two large communites and I don't do that single small road of homes and I don't cross that southern road. that is one hell of a route.now easy

it did. the name of the route is called greenway -club dr as those are part of the names of the roads on the route.i had to train a newbie that wants to do this job. we all start this way. my first day is the route I will do tomorrow and I was shown first how to read water and electric meters.
