It's OK that we do not agree on this issue, but will leave you with this.

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

It's not until the seventh trumpet is sounded that the kingdoms (nations) of this world will become the kingdoms (nations) of God and Christ as He will reign now forever over the nations. Jesus has never literally sat on the throne of David in Jerusalem, but has always been at the right hand of God until all His enemies have become His footstool, Psalms 110:1-4; Isaiah 66:1; 1 Corinthians 15:24-28; Ephesians 1:22; Hebrews 2:8; 10:12, 13. This happens when Christ returns as King of kings and Lord of lords subduing His enemies and destroying the beast and false prophet and binding Satan for a time of prophetic 1000 years, Rev 19-20.

Rev 20:1-10 It's during the millennium reign of Christ here on earth that all things are subject to Christ as He destroys the enemy and cast Satan into the lake of fire.

I do agree with you as 2 Peter 3:8 is not speaking about the 1000 year reign of Christ as the context is about God's longsuffering and patience from generation to generation as God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. There is emphases on the word "should" like that of should have, would have, could have, but many will be to late as Jesus will come on them as a thief in the night as at that time the door of Salvation will be closed forever as Christ destroys His enemies.

Rev 20:1-4 never mentions Christ literally reigning here on earth for a 1000 years. It says John only saw the future souls of those who were beheaded for not taking the mark of the beast, (not every soul that has ever died), live and reigned with Christ, but never mentions how long Christ's reign at that time is or where He is reigning from.

The scriptures I gave earlier in this post shows Jesus will never literally sit on the throne of David as this present earth and heaven will pass away then the New Jerusalem will be ushered down from heaven, Rev 21:1-3. Rev 20 shows nothing of Christ establishing a literal kingdom here on this present earth as Rev 11:15 only says at that time of the seventh trumpet the kingdoms (nations) of this world will become the kingdoms (nations) of our Lord and of His Christ. The meaning, then will all the enemies become the footstool of Christ as He makes all things subject unto Him.

Isaian 13; Joel 3:9-17; Zechariah 14; Rev 19 speaks about the great battle against the enemies of God. When Christ returns with His army, being the host/angels from heaven who are the righteousness of God in heaven, He will then rule the nations with a rod of iron (power and great authority) destroying the enemy being the beast and false prophet casting them into the lake of fire then killing all who have wondered after the beast and false prophet and have taken its mark. Then Satan will be bound for a time as Christ sends His angels out to the four corners of the earth as we who are of Christ own are then gathered up to Christ as we meet Him in the air and ever be with the Lord, 1 Corinthians 15:51-55; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.

All things of the final battle with the beast and false prophet and all that followed after them is initiated by Christ who does all of this from the air, Rev 19:11-21. When Satan is loosed he will send his band of demons to compass the camp of the saints that are gathered in the air being the breadth of the earth in measurement as we are not on this present earth after being caught up to Jesus in the air, but they are consumed by fire (whether it is literal fire or just symbolic of God's wrath against them yet they are destroyed) that God sends down to destroy them and Satan is cast into the lake of fire.

Between the binding of Satan and being loosed scripture says 1000 years, but many parts of Revelation are symbolic in what John was shown in His visions as I see 1000 years only being a figurative numbering as I can't see God waiting a literal 1000 years before casting Satan into the lake of fire and then comes His final judgment and the new Jerusalem being ushered down from heaven after this present earth and heaven are restored back to what God created in the beginning.

God bless you brother and have a great evening :)

Question?

What does Eph.5:14,15 mean to you?

Wherefore he Saith, awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
See then that ye walk circumspectly , not as fools, but as wise.

Resurrected in truth, they were spiritually dead....
Resurrect has different meanings..

This is speaking about those who are spiritually dead that have no fellowship with the Father as they will never inherit the kingdom of God, but will face His wrath unless they become Spiritually born again and walk in God's commands and statures.

Wow you said a lot Sister!
But the 1000 years is only one more day to the Lord. I figure He is going to show His children how it should have been and would have been if we had not fell. In our spiritual bodies presumably like Adam & Eve had before the fall. Walking with the Lord talking in the cool of the evening, every day!

I don't disagree with everything you wrote here. But one thing, if this 1000 years is not on earth...then satan will be loosed and allowed to attack the Kingdom realm?! He was booted out and cast to earth. Right?

Blessings Sister, I do like how you talk, lol. :)

Let's back up the bus a little, Lol.

Let's take a look at Rev.19:7,8
Speaking of the marriage supper, this is after the Great harlot was judged, correct? Rev.19:2

This is what happens when Christ returns, correct?
The Day of the Lord...millennium, correct?
All be changed, correct?

Thus, during the millennium, all will be in the spiritual bodies, correct?
Rev.20:5,6

Rev.19:15-18
Smite the nation's, and shall rule with a rod of iron, and treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Rev.19:17,18
Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the Great God.

Eat the flesh of kings, horses, captains , mighty men, FLESH OF ALL MEN, both free and bond, both small and great.

All flesh will be gone during the reign of Christ, correct?
Rev.20:4-6

I want to back up to chapter 17, 18 in order to explain chapter 19.

In Rev 17 the great harlot being mystery Babylon the mother of harlots is described in who this woman is and the beast she rides on. Rev 18 Babylon the great is fallen because she has been exposed and is about to be destroyed by Christ when He returns in the air.

Rev 19:7, 8 Correct, this happens after the great harlot is judged as now the marriage supper of the Lamb is made ready. Now comes the time of God's judgment as when Christ returns He destroys mystery Babylon by the brightness of His coming, 2 Thessalonians 2:8 as He cast this beast and false prophet alive into the lake of fire. All those who followed after the beast and false prophet are also slain by the sword being the words that Christ will slain them with. Then all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Incorrect as the Lord's day only appears once in Rev 1:10 as being the day John was given all these revelations. It does not allude to the 1000 years in Rev 20. It's when Christ returns during the seventh trumpet and He destroys the beast and false prophet as He sends His angels out to the four corners of the earth at this time to gather us to Him, Matthew 24:29-31, but we will be changed first before meeting Him in the air, 1 Corinthians 15:51-55.

Rev 20:5, 6 there is only one resurrection of the dead, but two different judgments according to John 5:28, 29. This happens on the last day. Those who have died that have done good are part of the resurrection of life as they are given new glorified bodies, but yet we know not what we will look like, but will be like as we see Him as He is, 1 John 3:2. The rest of the dead that have done evil will be raised up and resurrected to damnation. When it says the last day that means there are no more days left meaning no literal 1000 years here on earth that we have to wait for Satan to be loosed, attack the camp of the saints and then cast into the lake of fire before God ushers down the New Jerusalem from heaven.

Rev 19:11-21 Jesus returns with His army of angels from heaven, Matthew 25:31, as we know they are not the saints of God who have died and are asleep in their graves as no one has ever ascended up to heaven, John 3:13, but only our breath/spirit is what returns back to God who gave it, Genesis 2:7; Ecc 12:7. At this time He does come back to smite the nations with the word of God (no physical weapons) and He will rule them with a rod of iron, which means His discipline/punishment against the nations as He crushes them with the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Rev 19:17-21 all the fowls of the earth are called to gather together to have their fill with the flesh of everyone who will be slain by Christ as in the remnant who have followed after the beast and false prophet as no flesh will be saved.

I do have a habit of probably giving more than I should, but that's the only way I know how to explain things. I guess it's the writer in me, LOL.

The 1000 years either literal or figurative is defiantly not in the Kingdom realm of the third heaven where God sits on His throne. One part I am not sure of and still trying to figure out is when we are caught up to meet Jesus in the air I think that is the place where the camp of the saints is as it is as large as the breadth of the earth that Satan sends his demons out to try to destroy the saints of God. IMO we are kept there until the New Jerusalem is ushered down where we will then be with the Lord forever.

We do read in Rev 12:7-17 about the war between Michael and Satan as he is cast out of heaven. This happens right before he gives his power to the beast out of the sea who in turn gives all power and authority to the beast out of the earth as this is his last attempt to deceive the nations.

Thanks for all your responses,
Love talking to you, girl.
Somethings I just don't agree with you about, will ponder on it though.

I just can't see right now, why Ezek.40:1-Ezek.48:35 as mentioning the Temple during His reign. I believe it to be literally.

As in Ezek.48:35
The name of the city from That Day shall be called, The Lord is there.

But then...Jesus will reign on earth for 1000 years.

That’s the Sabbath, the rest, that the weekly Sabbath points to.

The 7000th year from Adam.

That 1000 years will be our rest from all enemies, enjoying peace and rest with glorified bodies that contain no sin.

No “war” against the evil one.
No war against the wicked people of this world.
No war between our spirit and our flesh.

That is our Sabbath.

  • beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. 2 Peter 3:8-13

I've always enjoyed our discussions too even though at times we might not agree, but are ever learning. :)

If you are talking about a third temple there will never be one now or during the reign of Christ in the end of days even though man has plans to build one, but God will never dwell in it as we are the Temple of God as the Lord is there within us as we are indwelled with His Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

There will certainly be a third temple and Constrution will begin very soon.

The antichrist will go to this temple and proclaim himself as God.

Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-4

For evildoers shall be cut off;
But those who wait on the Lord,
They shall inherit the earth.
For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more;
Indeed, you will look carefully for his place,
But it shall be no more.
But the meek shall inherit the earth,
And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
Psalm 37:9-11

There will never be a third Temple built by hands, Acts 7:48; Acts 17:24. When the veil of the Temple was torn from top to bottom after Jesus gave up the ghost, Matthew 27:50, 51, this symbolized that the sacrifice of Jesus and the shedding of his blood was now made for the atonement of sin and that all, Jew and Gentile, can come before Him as He is the only way to the Father, John 14:6.

There is no more veil for the Priest to enter into the Holy of Holies once a year to make atonement for Israel's sin nor is there any more animal sacrifices as we are no longer under the Old Covenant nor the preaching of the law, but are under a new and better covenant of Gods grace through Christ Jesus as our High Priest, Hebrews 4:14-16. Jesus prophesied of the Temple being desolate and that no one will see Him again until His time comes meaning when He returns on the last day, Matthew 24:1, 2; Luke 13:34, 35, John 6:40.

God no longer dwells in a Temple made by hands and this is why God left it desolate all these years when it was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. Now the Dome of the Rock sits on part of the Temple Mount and was built around 692 AD. The Muslims will never give it over to Israel, plus the Dome of the Rock is being refurbished for the son of perdition to come and sit on his throne and will cause a great falling away from truth, Isaiah 14:12-14; 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12.

Jesus fulfilled everything the temple stood for being the last sacrifical lamb taking away all the sin of the world. God no longer dwells in a temple made by hands, Acts 7:48-50; 17:22-31; Hebrews 10:7-18

Malachi 1:11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.

John 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The church, (body of Christ) is the temple where God dwells by His Holy Spirit, Zechariah 6:9-15 (prophecy of coming Messiah); 1 Corinthians 3:16, 17; Ephesians 2:19-22, Galatians 3:19-29.

In 70AD the second temple was destroyed and put an end to the temple made by hands and the sacrifices made there. The Temple of God now dwells in all who are Spiritually born again and indwelled with the Holy Spirit, John 3:5-7; Romans 10:9, 10.

I’m not talking about a temple that God will dwell in.

I’m talking about the temple the Jews are about to build, because they reject Jesus as their Messiah, and believe if they build the temple, “their” messiah will come.

The false messiah will go to this temple, and proclaim himself as “God”.

This will trigger the great tribulation that Jesus prophesied about.

  • when you see the abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place... For then there will be great tribulation

Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Some believe it will be 2000 years since He was crucified and resurrected?

  • that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

This false messiah, the lawless one, the antichrist will be destroyed by Jesus Christ, when He returns.

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 2 Thessalonians 2:8

OK, we are in agreement then God will not dwell in this temple as I know they want to build it, but we disagree about the son of perdition taking his seat there.

The holy place Jesus speaks of in Matthew 24 is Jerusalem, particularly the Temple Mount, and the only place that God ever shined His glory was in the Temple that sat on the temple mount that the Dome of the Rock sits on. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12, even now the Dome of the Rock which has sat on the Temple Mount of God since 691 A.D. is being refurbished and replicated as Imams and the son of perdition that comes out of the seventh remaining nation of Daniel chapter 7, are working on a peace treaty between the Arab country and Israel of who will govern Israel. We will see history repeat itself during the seventh trumpet. Within the agreement with Imams and the son of perdition the Muslims will be allowed to continue to pray there as they have a coalition with this son of perdition false religion that is called Chrislam.

The ToS prevents me from going into greater detail which would further explain all of this.

Recapturing the site meant the Jews could have their long-awaited third temple.

"It would be hard, I think, not to see what's happened in the past 50 years as a tremendous – not just fulfillment of prophecy – but a tremendous jump start, a tremendous fast forward," Richman said. "It's more than prophetic. It's like a kiss from Heaven. It's like a divine kiss. It's like an intimate brush with the reality of God's compassion and love. He keeps His promises."

The Institute is already working on blueprints for the new temple.

"Today there's a lobby in the Knesset (Israel’s parliament) of how many members of Knesset that are constantly speaking about Jewish rights to pray on the Temple Mount," Richman said. "There are members of Knesset that actually talk about the rebuilding the Holy Temple. Do you realize that 20 years ago these people wouldn't have been given a moment on prime time television to say these things. They would have been laughed out.”
