This is what Jesus came to fulfill in His life, death and resurrection under a better covenant of God's grace.

Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Galatians 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. 20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. 21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. 22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. 23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Hebrews 8:6-13 speaks of a better covenant through Christ then the one that was made with Abraham.

Matthew 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

What Jesus fulfills at His second coming is the promised redemption of those who are redeemed in the Lord, Ephesians 1:3-14.

Festivals have nothing to do with the return of Christ as festivals are memorable celebrations to keep alive the stories of what God did for the Israelites during the exodus. They were also lessons on the reality of sin, judgment and forgiveness in giving thanksgiving to God and trusting Him when being persecuted. We celebrate Passover today as a memorial of Exodus Chapter 12 and 1 Corinthians 11:23-25 until the coming of the Lord.

Galatians 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Yep....Col.2:14,16

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His
cross.

Let no man judge you in meat, drink, respect of an HOLY day, New moon, Sabbath.

The ordinances were nailed.
No more sacrificial lamb, oxen or what ever to sacrifice for sin.
Christ became our sacrificial Lamb.
Christ became our circumcision.
Christ became our Sabbath, rest.
Christ became our Passover.
We have the blood of Christ over our door post, when the death angel comes.

When you love God with all your heart, and love your neighbors as yourself,
You will not:::
Have other gods..
Bear false witness,
Commit adultery..
Steal..
Covet...
Murder, ( premeditated), lie in wait...
And so forth...

I like all you said here, especially nailing it to His cross as He fulfilled what the law could not.
