Those heart shaped boxes of chocolates are filled with truffles.
Yes, there are mushrooms by the same name but gourmet chocolate covered candies are known as truffles.

I make mint, orange, Gran Marnier, turtles, coffee, raspberry, and caramels....all covered with fine tempered Belgium chocolate.
 
Ok, you know Black Forest Cake has the cherry filling in the middle, right?? Have you ever heard of anyone trying to make a cake with the blueberry filling in the middle, maybe doing a cream cheese frosting??? Does that sound too weird????

It's good stuff.

Cream cheese frosting/filling makes the chocolate sharper in flavor. It makes it great.
Fruit and chocolate is good. Blueberries are good... almost a staple in Maine.
Cherries and strawberries are a standard. Mangoes are great too. Pineapple is good but it's better when poached first in syrup instead of fresh.

Maine! I miss Maine! My Mom's family mostly lives there. Gotten to just a few times. Love the birch trees!!

Well, YES!! With ALL the spirits and people the Lord created, it would be crazy to think there are no spirits around us anywhere on earth!! There is no "getting away" from them, I'm thinking. Kinda like spiders..... LOL

I was hoping for a NO!!

My family vacationed there a long time ago.
On a Lake, can't remember the name...it was beautiful.
There were bears in the vicinity. Had to be careful with food trash...

Very enjoyable.
No bears were spotted.

He has made beautiful copper flowers, he gave me metal roses he made for Valentine's saying, "they will last as long as my love for you". AWWWWW..... He made our 4 post bed frame....hearts included. He KNOWS metal, and can make anything you can dream up out of it as long as he has the measurements. God has given him an amazing ability to see blue prints, make them 3D in his head and PLAY with what is written to see if there is a flaw in the design!?! If he doesn't have a tool, the Lord has given him the understanding of what needs to happen to create the desired affect, and he makes a simple tool to work with the metal to get the result...... I find it thrilling to witness! :biggrin

Old Glass windows aren't as flat as modern ones. As such they don't reflect light and images uniformly. When driving or riding past them in a train sometimes the reflection mimics a person standing there that disappears. And you would swear that there was a person there a split second ago. These are known as window ghosts.
