My poor wife got stuck delivering packages in it yesterday. Mind you, it was all backroads ( dirt) that doesn't get plowed.

Are you ready for the cold blast coming? Last I heard yesterday it's going to drop to 9 degrees...
 
Interestingly enough when we look at the End Times of Christ and anti-Christ we find something in common, lightening. The Lord said He saw Satan fall like lightening. We are told when the Lord returns it will be like lightening from the east to the west. This description comparing them to lightening I believe was describing something man cannot describe, the Shekinah Glory. I believe anti-Christ will appear to be brought down from heaven as lightening/Fire by the false prophet who will appear to be the Prophet Elijah. When he appears to bring anti-Christ down as Fire no one will doubt this is Elijah, anti-Christ is God and they will appear to have the fire needed for temple worship. Until that fire is received the temple is closed and anti-Christ cannot declare himself as God.
 
Winter has become ugh for my husband and I he is 71 and I am 66. But it sure is pretty when it first falls. I wonder if in heaven it snows only on grass no sidewalks or streets?

Lol, let's hope so but ya never know since we're Gods kids. ( my kid takes out the trash, mostly plows the driveway and shovels the deck)
We are His workmanship to do the good work prepared beforehand.. Hey, don't shoot the messenger... I'm just saying..

Tomorrow suppose to be 29 then warming up to the mid 40's which is unusual for November. The worst will be coming as Dec can be iffy, but Jan and Feb are our worst months.

Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

When Satan is finally cast out of heaven then he will give controlling power to the beast out of the sea who gives power to the beast (false Christ/son of perdition) out of the earth and deceive the nations into taking its mark, Rev 13; Matthew 24:15. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be, Matthew 24:27-31; Rev 19:11-21.
 
Have either of you read Arthur W Pink book Anti-Christ? I think it is the best study ever done on anti-Christ and the End Times. He poses the teaching that Satan is a trinity of evil. Satan the father is in heaven right now accusing the brethren day and night before God the Father

then the false prophet who is like anti-Holy Spirit and is at work in the world. Like the Holy Spirit you cannot see him only the fruit he produces, denying Christ sowing the fruit that is the opposite of the Fruit of the Spirit. All the anti-Christian fruit you see is the false prophet at work in the world as he even now is preparing the way for anti—Christ.

in Rev. 11, I think, we are shown the unclean beast and out of him is the trinity, Satan, anti-Christ and the false prophet. One but three, three but one. The great delusion that is being sent by the Lord that could almost fool the elect. I ramble when talking Scripture. Sorry

Ohhh,.. so you're debating whether or not it was actually a star or God Himself guiding the way? I thought that biblically speaking it was actually a star though. I remember hearing some debate about it being a comet as well.

We got snow as well, but isn't that much around here though. I'm not minding it as much as I originally thought I would since it's a pretty big sign that Christmas is coming! :sohappy
 
just think from what is recorded it was the Shekinah Glory. I am not dogmatic about it but a personal belief. Can’t wait for the Road to Emmaus like study to clear up all these interesting but not essential questions.

Satan's trinity is Dragon, beast and false prophet, Rev 13; Rev 16:13, and has his own his own church "a synagogue of Satan, Rev 2:9.

My passion is studying end times as you can see if you go into the End Times forum., I really don't read books about it as I would rather study the scriptures, (a lot of cross referencing OT-NT) plus history of Biblical eras as the Holy Spirit helps guides me through all of it.
